Reigning Queensland Derby favourite who is using this race tomorrow as his final lead-up heading into the Group 1 classic in a fortnights time. He couldn’t have been any more impressive winning on the Kensington track earlier this month charging clear of his stablemate Duchess Of Lennox who ran well at Doomben last Saturday and is a live Oaks chance next week. Hard to beat.

RACE 5 No.8 Asharani

Kris Lees trained filly who caught the eye in the Group 3 Carr Stakes over the carnival weaving home from last on the home turn to finish on the heels of the placegetters looking stiff not to wind up closer than the official 1.1 length margin.  Went to Scone last start and ran into trouble as well as finding herself on the worst ground in the straight. She’s due for a change of luck!

RACE 9 No.22 November Man

As an emergency he likely needs another couple of scratchings however if able to sneak into the field he represents a definite winning chance for Anthony Cummings. Placed his past couple on the Kensington track which followed a 6 length demolition of his rivals first up in an easier race at Goulburn he will get back here however hit the line hard as he did behind Brook Magic last time out. Each-way.
