RACE 2 No.15 Tokoriki Lad

Backmarker who will appreciate Eagle Farm on Saturday where he’ll be well suited by the roomy and long run home. Having his third run back from a break he should just about be peaking for Jeff Lloyd who will have him in clear running down the straight ready to pounce on the leaders late. Beaten into 2nd spot behind Chapter And Verse at the Gold Coast on MM Day is a great indicator he’s well up to beating these.

RACE 3 No.8 Lord Arthur

Kiwi raider who looked very good to the eye wining at Ellerslie last start in Group 2 company over 2100m. He gave away a decent start to the turn however aided by a solid tempo he unleashed a big finish to gather in his rivals before pulling clear to the line. Looks to have plenty of upside and the big positive is the engagement of star jockey James McDonald.

RACE 6 No.6 Disruptor

Drew wide, went straight back at Doomben a fortnight ago giving away too much start before finding the line encouragingly late. He showed at his two previous Sydney runs he’s more than capable of settling close and from the good gate tomorrow I’d be very disappointed if Larry Cassidy didn’t have him midfield or better once they settle. From there he’d be very hard to hold out in the straight.
