Gold Coast trained 3yo who although not fired last three starts they have all been in stronger company where he’s been far from disgraced. His latest effort here was a 1.95 length defeat when closing ground along the rail, that section of the track was generally avoided during the meeting which adds further merit to the performance. He also meets Mass Destruction 8kg better for the marginal defeat.

RACE 7 No.6 Shooting For Gold

Promising youngster from the O’Dea/Hoysted stable resuming from a break tomorrow. He’s won 4 of his 8 outings to date and certainly impressed winning both first and second up last campaign when things didn’t pan out before bad luck and a rise in grade put a stop to his winning run. Soft recent trial win at Doomben in good time suggests he’s all set to return a winner tomorrow.

RACE 8 No.9 Nudge

She faces a tougher task tomorrow in the Group 1 Tiara however she’s never been going better than she is at the moment and at the well into double-figure odds is certainly worth a ticket each-way. Her two wins up here have both been against the tempo producing big finishing burst to get home, the fact she’s now proven here on the track is a definite bonus also.
