Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on October 2, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 4 No.6 Scottish Mist Rothesay mare from the Heathcote stable who looks very well placed to make it 4 wins on the trot tomorrow. Dominant winning successive races at Ipswich she raised the bar winning here in a recent midweeker overcoming late traffic to still prevail mowing down some smart types in the process. The time was very strong in that race and the form out of it will stand up! RACE 6 No.2 Superare Sunshine Coast trained colt who did a good job first up when a narrowly beaten 3rd here against the older horses. He returns to his own age tomorrow, will strip a lot fitter and comes up with the inside draw which should see him within striking distance in the straight. Placed in Group 3 company at only his third start he looks to have plenty of ability. RACE 8 No.2 Desert Lord Could not have been any more impressive winning at Eagle Farm when having his first outing for the Vandyke stable. Settling back in the field Ryan Maloney brought him to the outside early in the straight and within 100m he rounded up his rivals and had the race shot to bits. Coasting clear late his sectionals were very strong yet he never got out of first gear. Expect similar tomorrow! Quaddie 2, 7 3, 5, 6, 11, 12 2, 4 2, 4, 8 Market Market
