Chris Nelson’s Doomben Tips Posted on April 14, 2017April 14, 2017 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 2 No.2 Capital Gain Absolutely no luck at all here 5 weeks back when strung up for a run almost the entire straight. Managed to gain some clear running over the last 50m of the race charging to the line to just miss looking a tragedy beaten. Drops back from the 1350m to 1200m tomorrow however freshened up should be in striking distance once they hit the straight. Big chance to make amends. RACE 5 No.10 Our Beebee Lightly raced filly who is absolutely flying this time in winning all three starts in dominant fashion. She followed up a strong Gold Coast victory by stepping up to 1350m here a fortnight back giving away a start before storming up to take over and race away late to score by almost 4 lengths on the line. She carries the same weight tomorrow and I’m expecting a similar result. RACE 8 No.3 Dances Of Heroes Ex Chris Waller trained galloper who has had the two local starts placing on each occasion with 6 weeks in between each run. He did a good job here last start beating all bar first couple who are going very well. Fitter this time around he’ll gain the right run off a perfect draw just tagging the speed if not in front. Gets his chance to win. Absolutely no luck at all here 5 weeks back when strung up for a run almost the entire straight.
