Chris Nelson’s Doomben Best Bets Posted on November 30, 2018 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 2 No.3 Estikhraaj Chris Waller trained stayer who was given a 10/10 ride by Larry Cassidy saving a ton of ground two starts back when winning. Last time out however he couldn’t find any room in the straight until all too late when charging to the line to beat all bar the winner Stanley who led throughout. They meet again tomorrow and I’m expecting this one to gain revenge! RACE 7 No.3 Malahide Unbeaten filly from the Michael Costa yard who looked good running on from the back of the field in a recent trial at Doomben. She basically did it all under her own steam in a heat clocked in solid overall time won by Curdled. Look out late, she can really find the line this one! RACE 8 No.5 Tyzone Could well be the forgotten horse in tomorrow’s George Moore as his first up run at fortnight back was much better than it may appear on first glances. He never saw anything of the inside rail racing 3 and 4 wide the entire trip, the impressive part about his run though was his closing 200m which was bettered only by the late charging Victorem who almost ran down the winner..
