RACE 3 No.3 Merimee

Looks the right race for this Chris Waller trained mare who should be right at her peak third run back from a break. Good without much room first up she hit the line strongly second up and on Saturday gets out to the mile trip which she has placed over. The tempo on paper looks very solid which is going to suit her run on style pattern.

RACE 6 No.5 Aqua Alta

Lightly raced mare who didn’t have the best of luck here last start when held up a little in the straight. She ended up running 3rd less than 2 lengths from the winner with Ashgrove who is also engaged in Saturday’s race splitting the pair. Aqua Alta has a big weight pull over Ashgrove and at the better price I’m happy to go with her each-way.

RACE 8 No.9 The Big Goodbye

Model of consistency who just looks to have found the ideal race on Saturday. A noted drifter two back here he scraped home at almost double figures, forgive his latest run when wide on a hot speed also here beaten just over 4 lengths. He’s up in grade for this however that doesn’t concern, he’s down plenty in weight & maps in the first couple (likely slowly run).
