Greg Hooper’s Belmont Preview Posted on May 4, 2016 | Posted by Greg Hooper Greg Hooper’s Preview RACE 2 NO. 7 ELLORA MAY ELLORA MAY worked hard first-up and was just touched off in a similar class of race to this. She was scratched from a very winnable race at Northam on Sunday to be saved for this event and with normal luck in running she goes very close to breaking her maiden tag. RACE 3 NO. 7 DANGEROUS GAME DANGEROUS GAME has been in career best form this preparation producing strong efforts in all four starts. At his most recent assignment he settled in the second half of the field and worked home well in a race dominated by speed horse. This looks a slight drop in class and he has drawn to get the run of the race. RACE 6 NO. 3 SECRET CHARGE SECRET CHARGE looks well placed to make it two career wins from as many starts in this moderate Class 1. On debut he was strong winner over this distance at Pinjarra where he parked behind the speed, let down nicely approaching the straight and gave nothing else a real look in. If he can get some cover from a sticky draw he goes very close. RACE 8 NO. 3 CADENZA CADENZA will really appreciate the huge drop in class in this event. At her last two starts she has against the state’s best mares under set weight conditions. After the claim for Aaron Mitchell she looks pitch forked in with 57.5kg and from gate 4 she should get every conceivable in running. QUADDIE RACE 5 – 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 RACE 6 – 3, 4, 6 RACE 7 – 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 12 RACE 8 – 1, 3, 7 [button class=”bet-now” style=”btn-default btn-lg” type=”link” target=”false” title=”Bet Now” link=”https://www.tabtouch.com.au/racing/2016-05-04/pr” linkrel=””]
