Race 1

FROM TIGERLAND (3) has come back in terrific order and steps up a lot in class but looks to find the top and give them something to catch, he looks to be highly talented and continues to improve every time he steps out there. LUVBITE (7) likely rolls to the breeze and looks to have depth, should run a bold race here and has the hardened metro racing under his belt. DUNKALLEDY (4) returns and has talent, being first up I am expecting him to roll forward and be handy to them and be in the thick of it late but may need the run. BROUGHT TO LIGHT (10) will improve with fitness every time he steps out there, awkward draw for him. KINKY (9) is racing well but has her fair share of tricks.

Suggested Bet: FROM TIGERLAND (3) to win.

Race 2

HERES HERBIE (5) has the credentials to dominate on debut in the West, with the powerful Team Bond stable and looks the winner on paper. BEATITLIKEBECA (1) has the speed to lead early and then has options, strong place chance he appears to chase any speed well. OPAL HUNTER (3) strips fitter but had a tough first up run, should settle handy to them and expected him to improve. SWEET PINS (12) is capable and can bounce back into the money with MY SILVER SPOON (11) who is a novelty chance along with FINAL COLLECT (7).

Tips: 5 1 3 7

Suggested Bet: BEATITLIKEBECA (1) to place.

Race 3

CAPTAINSHAVTIME (5) was excellent in a return victory, and she is one that can do work where required, it was a soft run that worked out perfectly for her on return but should benefit from that and be hard to beat here. STORMYSKYES (1) holds the key to the race, likes to race on speed and lead and is second up, could be driven aggressively. PAROQUET (10) is racing well, has a soft draw and gains the incredible hands of James Herbetson, she is ready to win and ticks a few boxes. XCEPTIONAL ARMA (3) can improve in this, and draw suggests she won’t be too far away. STARLIGHT DREAM (4) is very capable, but the draw is a little tricky and could take some market share off the way she ran through the line. WATER LOU (8) drops in grade and can improve in this, don’t leave her out. LENORA JANE (12) a must for your novelties at bigger odds as she can duck and weave and will look dangerous for the top 4 at some stage.

Race 4

LAZI DAIS (1) has won all 5 races since resuming and gets the perfect draw, looks the leader and hard to go past him in this although it is his first crack at the longer distance and this is a deep race and his main attributes seem to be his high speed. RUNKLE CRUNCH (4) has come back in tremendous order and may have to do the work but is proven over the longer trip and only defeat this time in was a brave second to MAD MONDAY (8) who is flying but must overcome a wide draw and tricky map. CHASE ME (10) early speed could be a concern but is drawn to run a better race and is a better horse on the rail. Novelty chances to COMO EL VIENTO (3), BELLY UP (6), LINCOLN LOU (9), SPITFIRE (11) and I do give a sneaky chance to FULL SWING DENARIO (13) now that he comes into barrier two of getting in behind the leader.

Suggested Bet: LAZI DAIS/RUNKLE CRUNCH to Quinella.

Race 5

FAKENIT (2) has come back in good order and hasn’t landed back in the winners list yet but looks well placed to lead and on what we have seen from the breeze, she will be hard to run down, only negative I can find is that she can get keen which could be concerning against a quality field over the longer trip. PENNY BLACK (7) will likely end up in the breeze, and she is the proven talent and work horse, go well. COPY CAT QUEEN (11) wasn’t a bad effort on return and think the tempo could suit her in running on strongly. WONDERFUL TO FLY (1) won the Golden Girls Mile at Pinjarra from the leaders back position and could be dangerous late with HUNGER STRIKE (10) at longer odds, she was brave in victory last time out. Awkward draw for DELIGHTFUL PEG (8) who has all the talent but faces her toughest test. AARDIEBYTHESEASIDE (9) caught the eye last run but this is another awful draw.

Suggested Bet: COPY CAT QUEEN (11) each way.

Race 6

ROCKANDROLLARTIST (1) has the draw to lead, and we know how hard he is to beat in that position, plenty in the race to keep him honest and over the longer trip he has never won so that is a slight concern against a quality lineup. MENEMSHA (10) was solid in his return run and will get the run of the race, if he gets into the clear he will be very dangerous. OTIS (11) has been racing the best of the best and will appreciate this grade, expecting him to be right in it. ALTA TRIBUTE (2) has the nice draw, not 100% certain on whether he is at the top of his game currently, but this will give a good indication. THELITTLE MASTER (4) is the best roughie of the night, he has been a naughty boy in the stands and form has still been brilliant, include in everything and tempo could suit him. CHIVALRY (12) racing well but has a tricky draw to continue the good form.

Tips: 10 1 11 4

Suggested Bet: MENEMSHA (10) each way.

Race 7

MINSTREL (5) went into full beast mode last time with an unbelievable victory, he comes up against his arch rival again and they look set to go to war, MINSTREL (5) is getting better with age and his wins last start and the WA Pacing Cup three starts ago have been career best and will be hard to hold out. MAGNIFICENT STORM (4) has the speed to burn to the top and will be given his chance, he has won the Bunbury and Pinjarra Cup this prep and will take plenty of catching. HUGOTASTIC (1) gains a run and gets the draw, he got close to MAGNIFICENT STORM (4) in the Bunbury Cup and is set to get a similar run, this will be a great test to see whether he can hang with the big boys. UBETCHA TIGERPIE (10) is that one spot further back and will be working into it late and is a proven type, could be dangerous. MIGHTY RONALDO (6) is flying but looks to have to come from maybe one spot further back than you would like and GOLDEN LODE (7) could feature in the top 4 from a soft run. Draw really hurts BULLETPROOF BOY (8).

Tips: 5 4 1 10

Suggested Bet: MINSTREL (5) to win.

Race 8

IDEAL BEACH (12) was unplaced on return but was also looked after a bit with the map looking horrible for him so I wouldn’t read too much into the unplaced run with Wishing Belle dashing home in 55 and change, he can watch things unfold and be dominant late. CEASE TO REACT (5) could run hard out the gate and get forward and there is a chance he finds the top here and give them something to catch. AMALFI KNIGHT (4) caught the eye on return and could have something to say about that, expected improvement. WAKE UP GEOFF (1) has the ability but just worried he might get zapped early by BUTTER ME UP (3) who is a quick beginner and is a place to novelty chance if he does cross. WHEELSOFORTUNE (9) is a tough horse but has been thrown the toughest barrier.

Tips: 12 5 4 3

Suggested Bet: IDEAL BEACH (12) to win.

Race 9

WISHING BELLE (8) has only tasted defeat twice this preparation and they have been at the hands of the Jocelyn Young trained Miss Leopatra, Jocelyn brings another up and coming talent to this race in SKYHIGH ADDA (6) who will look to keep the advantage and make things harder for the star filly WISHING BELLE (8) should be a fantastic battle. SKYHIGH ADDA (6) was impressive last time in and won well on return, respect her as stretching the neck of the favourite. NOT SO SWEET (10) will get a soft run and won well in good time first up for Team Bond, looks a novelty chance to slight winning chance if they overdo it. LIVY ANN (1) is a novelty chance from the perfect draw but will be close to the speed. CRUNCHNSIP (2) falls into novelty category with the luckless EL RAES GIRL (4).

Tips: 8 6 10 1

Suggested Bet: NOT SO SWEET (10) to place.

Race 10

ROX THE WORLD (8) is knocking loudly on the door but will take a great deal of market share here and should get the job done but likely to be quite short. TROIS FONTAINE (1) has the perfect draw and has early speed that she could lead and has options; she was horribly unlucky in the Race for Roses last start. RELLIM (3) was incredibly eye-catching last run, but he is a one-dimensional type and needs things to go his way, still a chance with SAMMY SUFFARELL (9) who was superb in victory at Pinjarra, but the draw and map hurt him. IM SPIDERMAN (10) and JACKIE DANIELS (12) both novelty chances.
