Race 1

BLAMEITONTHENIGHT (11) didn’t have much luck last time out and was checked at a vital point before running through the line strongly in a last quarter of 28.0, overall depth of the race isn’t as strong as recent runs and looks to settle close enough and think he can return to the winners list. MONEY BOSS (2) was a winner of a maiden event on Tuesday and wasn’t brilliant in victory, looks the likely leader and can improve but it is a significant class rise. HOLY MOLEY (1) is well bred and on debut from a good draw, keep safe. GEE SMITH (6), AWAITININSTRUCTIONS (7), TA IN ADVANCE (8) and HAVEYOUMETTED (9) all drawn awkwardly for their styles. OUR VINNIE (10) capable but needs a bit of luck from the draw.

Race 2

Open race. MANHATTAN MOON (10) was solid in his return run, ran through the line strongly after being held up momentarily, will need a touch of luck from the draw but could be value. TUMBLIN DICE (5) is racing well and has good early speed but some speed all around him, winning chance if he leads. TRAVELBAN (11) will punch through and lob handy, class suits but he has been mixing his form a touch. BURGHLEY SHARD (3) and KURIOUS BOY (4) both speedy types and the concern for the latter is it being first up off a freshen up. SUN PUBLISHER (6) is racing in top form, but this is harder and map is awkward. ILLAWONG MUSTANG (7) another speedy type who could win if he could somehow lead.

Suggested Bet: MANHATTAN MOON (10) each way.

Race 3

WHOS THE DAD (1) has caught the eye in his last three runs and has a lovely draw to show his early speed and look to make every post a winner, extremely hard to beat. LOUIE LEBEAU (2) has the lovely draw and looks to get the run of the race, strong novelty chance. LIL HAPPY FELLA (5) will be suited by the smaller field and will be running on. ELDAYTONA (6) and MIKI WINDERMERE (9) both racing well but the draws and maps are against them.

Suggested Bet: WHOS THE DAD (1) to win.

Race 4

Keenly contested race here. MAXIMUM ROCK (4) went to the line bolting last time out and looks to use his early speed and be handy to them, can run good time and the tempo could suit him. MINOS (1) has the speed to lead and won well last time out, good test as there will be plenty of pressure in this. LONGREACH BAY (3) will come out hard but needs to lead to show his best and looks challenging for him. ROCKANDROLLARTIST (6) and SORRIDERE (7) both quick beginners but plenty of speed underneath, both have proven to be versatile. BETTER ECLIPSE (9) will be trucking forward at some stage but over the short course it’s not going to be easy. CODENAME MARCUS (10) is a chance at odds; he raced well through the Nights of Thunder series. Tricky race.

Suggested Bet: MAXIMUM ROCK (4) each way.

Race 5

MADAM PUBLISHER (3) is a brilliant early beginner and has been racing some of the best on offer, if she could get to the top I think she will win but still confident she’ll be hard to beat from a close enough position. SUGAR DELIGHT (1) won well last time out but did hand up, tactics may change at the shorter course as she has good speed and has won leading on many occasions. HUNGER STRIKE (10) is racing in top form and drawn to get a soft run, will be running on. WONDERFUL TO FLY (6) closed off well last time out when the tempo suited, she has high speed, but the draw is a bit awkward for her. ALTA ALLURE (7) and SWEET COCO (9) both capable types but poorly drawn. SHES A TINY DANCER (2) should be included in novelties; she is flying but takes on the best.

Suggested Bet: MADAM PUBLISHER (3) to win.

Race 6

PETES HONOUR (2) has the good draw and plenty of early speed, won well in good time last time when leading and no reason why he can’t do it again, hard to beat. GOODTIME LOUIS (1) was just sound in his return run, strips fitter and is a good front runner but in many ways, he holds the key to the race. INFINITE SIGN (3) has had no luck in recent runs but has hit the line powerfully, should be close enough to run into the money. RAKERO RAIDER (5) is suited by the smaller field and will be running home well. LOU LAMOUR (4) couldn’t cross PETES HONOUR (2) last time out and doubt that will change, therefore makes him a novelty chance.

Suggested Bet: PETES HONOUR (2) to win.

Race 7

DOURADO (8) is a quick beginner and could bounce on the speed and potentially lead and from there he will be hard to beat, he didn’t appreciate the pressure he copped last time out, and this could be better for him. CHIVALRY (10) is a horse who can do work in the race and likely to be put into it. IMA FIVESTAR GENERAL (11) needs a safe getaway but is knocking on the door to win one. MAUNGATAHI (12) will find it tough from 40m and against a capacity field. Novelty chances to ECLIPSE LINE (1), GREVIS (2), BEACH CAPTAIN (5) and MY COPY (6).

Tips: 8 10 11 2

Suggested Bet: DOURADO (8) to win.

Race 8

FLY TO THE FINISH (5) was a good effort doing all the work last time out and prior form has been strong, looks a suitable race and he has strings to his bow for this, go close. MIKIPELO (1) comes in fresh and has the nice draw, should be handy to them if not in front and can go well fresh. AMERICAN MONARCH (2) comes in fresh and with no back row will get a soft run but might need a couple runs under her belt to have her spot on. HI SUGA RUSH (7) has had more than a few opportunities to break through, he never saw daylight last time out and will likely be driven forward, looks a major player but hard to get enthused when he is finding it hard to break through. Novelty chances to SHES A MARE (3), LORD PUBLISHER (4) and STATE MY CASE (6).

Tips: 5 7 1 2

Suggested Bet: FLY TO THE FINISH (5) to win.

Race 9

ROCKSTAR QUALITY (6) has good early speed and has put together a couple of decent runs using that early speed, think this grade suits and he can go well. SWIZZLESTICK (1) gets the draw and has been unplaced in three since returning, has shown promise but has mixed his form since coming West. VINTAGE BLU (7) is racing well and can be put into it if needed. CLASSICAL ELLIE (5) suited by the smaller field and should be running on well.

Tips: 6 1 7 5

Suggested Bet: ROCKSTAR QUALITY (6) each way.

Race 10

MISTER LINTON (5) has been solid in both of his runs back, has built up some confidence and can show his best here, expect him to go well. SPUDMEISTER (6) is suited in this grade and has decent early speed, think he will run well. IL BANDITO (1) has good early speed and options from the draw. JACKIE DANIELS (3) did too much last time out and expected her to be close to the speed and running on this time out. GIRL OF BRIGHTNESS (2) could improve.
