RIPPER VIEW (7) looks a big chance to go back-to-back as she is versatile and can overcome the 40m with a decent start, go close. VILLAGE DEE JAY (4) wasn’t a bad effort last time out and has the advantage over the likely favourite. THREE FLAMES (5) finally broke through and looks to carry that form on. I LIKE WHAT I SEE (8) hasn’t excited in recent runs but overall has shown enough promise to run better. DUNWERKEN (1) a now 3yo, steps up to the longer distance but was narrowly beaten last time out. Tips: 7 4 5 1 Suggested Bet: RIPPER VIEW (7) to win. Race 2 FOLLOW MY STRIDE (8) will be suited to the longer trip and make the ground up and should be running home strongly, wasn’t beaten all that far last time out and must be respected as a major player. VICIOUSLY UNKIND (1) nearly broke through last time out and looks the likely leader here and should give them something to chase. THE PROTOTYPE (5) got the split at the right time when flashing to victory, racing well overall. TWOHEARTONEDIAMOND (4) hit the line well last time out and is a winning chance with even luck. CAPTURE THE MOMENT (7) has shown promise but mixes her form. Tips: 8 1 5 4 Suggested Bet: FOLLOW MY STRIDE (8) each way. Race 3 DAWSON (7) steps quickly and can make up a lot of the 80m handicap, he was an easy winner last time out and can win again, his resistance is JOEYS ON A ROLL (4) who has the massive handicap advantage and carried a flat tyre last time out, he looks a major chance to work to the top and will takes some running down. BILLYJAMES (3) on the quick backup and looks a decent novelty chance with VELVET SHADOW (6) who must overcome a 70m handicap but is a quick beginner. Tips: 7 4 3 6 Suggested Bet: DAWSON/JOEYS ON A ROLL to Quinella. Race 4 IM THE BEST (7) is a quick beginner and can make up a heap of the 40m, he is stripping fitter for the first up effort and short course stand suits, expecting him to run a big race here. GEE SMITH (6) is fitter for that first run from a freshen up, has strings to his bow and will run well here. EXTINCTION (3) didn’t have a great deal of luck last time out but still raced well, has the advantage and will be fitter. LUKES MISTAKE (4) needs to hold a forward spot as he lacks high speed. RAMBO RABBIT (5) racing well and is a reliable beginner but doubt he will find his way to the top. Tips: 7 6 3 4 Suggested Bet: IM THE BEST (7) to win. Race 5 AWAITINGINSTRUCTIONS (7) didn’t have much luck last time out, got the late split and powered through the line, that was after a freshen up so expecting him to be better off that run, go close. MYDADTHETERROR (4) goes back 10m and won well last time out and can do some work in this race. HUGHEY (5) is racing well, will be running on well. ISAIDBOO (6) suited at the trip, novelty chance.
