Race 1

CAPTAINS CREEK (4) is getting down in grade and finds a suitable race, looks to use his early speed and likely bounces on the lead and from there will be very hard to run down. MONTERIO (1) is an on-speed type and should be close enough, can be placed. OFFICIAL ROCK (12) is flying, nice win at Wagin and has a good affiliation with Kylah Madden, will be running home strongly again here. SHEER ROCK LADY (8) has a wide draw to overcome but back to racing her own age group, should see an improvement. FLOAT MY BOAT (7) is a hard horse to catch, had every chance last time out but prior two runs were first class, needs luck from the draw.

Tips: 4 8 12 1

Suggested Bet: CAPTAINS CREEK (4) to win.

Race 2

CULLEN STAR (7) is second up today and was a sound performance on return, this grade suits and he is versatile, expecting him to run well in this. DON’T GOIN THEWATER (4) could find his way to the top again but had every chance last time out. TORREVEAN AMY (12) will be running on well from back in the field, she is better suited to this grade but will need the tempo on. FIREBALL FRIDAY (1) has the speed to lead early and can be a place chance. SHES MY LITTLE GEM (2) is racing well enough but just lacks that early brilliance. JILLIBY JAKE (11) will be running on.

Tips: 7 4 12 11

Suggested Bet: CULLEN STAR (7) each way.

Race 3

ADMIRAL DARCY (1) has options from the good draw but was very unlucky last time out, has been racing well this preparation and this could be a good opportunity to see where he is at, expect him to run well. AT THE POINTY END (6) has been beaten on her merits in both runs, this grade suits but the draw is tricky, she’ll be in the money again. SAMMY SUFFARELL (5) has been impressive since coming to WA, little bit tricky in terms of a draw but he will run well in this and think he will win more races this preparation. GET YA BETS ON (12) can watch things unfold and is racing with good consistency. HEARTOFAHLIA (7) has elevated but draw is tricky. MYDADTHETERROR (10) is ideally drawn and could be a knockout if the gaps come.

Suggested Bet: ADMIRAL DARCY (1) each way.

Race 4

GREATGREAT BOULDER (9) is a classy type who resumes and strikes a suitable grade, will be hard to hold out here. LADY VIOLETTA (1) has had a few opportunities to break through and is finding it difficult, has options from the draw but should run well. SUGAR STREET (5) is suited in this grade and should settle close enough to the action to play a part. CAPTAIN CONFETTI (6) was a good win two starts ago, if he was able get to the top, he would go close. THOMSON BAY (7) and DEL BOCAVISTA BAY (8) both capable but the draw has made it tougher for them.

Suggested Bet: GREATGREAT BOULDER (9) to win.

Race 5

ROCKSTAR QUALITY (8) was a much better effort in his last run and is tracking in the right direction again, looks suited in this grade and can overcome the draw and return to the winners list. CURADH (9) will find it more challenging from the wide gate, lightly raced but has talent, this is a new test. BROOKVALEGIRL (3) has the early speed to lead and then has options from there, but she will give them something to catch. STAR OF THE GALAXY (1) is a novelty chance from the good draw. KINSAABI (7) is capable but awkwardly drawn again.

Tips: 8 3 9 7

Suggested Bet: ROCKSTAR QUALITY (8) to win.

Race 6

TOO FAR AWAY TED (2) has the good draw and can use it to his advantage and get to the top, hasn’t had an opportunity like this and looks hard to run down. SOME LINE (8) is racing with great consistency and deserves a win, will have to do the work but can stick on. THEBAREFOOTPIRATE (6) was sound in a recent trial, and times look more than good enough to run well on debut, keep safe. BROOME BEACH (1) looks to have ability and ideally draw comes in with novelty claims along with PRINCE OF PINJARRA (3) and KUNGFU WARRIOR (5) who has shown promise.

Tips: 2 8 6 1

Suggested Bet: TOO FAR AWAY TED (2) to win.

Race 7

MY LIGHTNING MCQUEEN (3) looks to have the talent to take on a couple of the nicer trotters and expecting her to run a bold race here. QUIGGLEY (6) is a good staying type and should run well, has been more consistent lately and must be respected. MAJESTIC GA GA (8) has brilliant high speed and has been stepping safely, just needs a genuine tempo. PATCHED (10) was solid in his comeback run but the handicap hurts him along with LUVAFLAIR (9).

Tips: 3 8 6 10

Suggested Bet: MY LIGHTNING MCQUEEN (3) to win.

Race 8

DEKLA DIVA (2) is nicely drawn and has been catching the eye in recent runs, will be coming out hard and I think if she can hold up, she can break through and win here. SNAKEY BAY (3) has good early speed, might be able to open a position and be close to them. ELIZABETH AITCH (8) is suited in this grade and last run was a good indicator that she is heading in the right direction. NORTHERN SOUL (7) was a good effort when driven with authority last time out. ELLEOFAREACTOR (4) should settle close enough and will run on well.

Tips: 2 8 7 4

Suggested Bet: DEKLA DIVA (2) to win.
