Race 5 No. 2 Trunkey Jennings

He was a winner two starts ago from the red marble, then no luck last start and pulled up with a slight injury, returns to the track today and just thought this looked a suitable race for him, with the 4 dog being scratched it brings it down to a 7 dog field, and if he can begin well he can land on the arm and prove mighty hard to run down.

Tips: 2-5-6-3

Race 6 No. 6 Dolly Dotty

She lost her way there for a while but I think that was due to getting up in the grades, I thought her last run was much improved, if she can get that ping back at the start she will take some beating in this now that she’s getting back down in the grades. We are betting on the start here, need one of them fast launches from the traps.

Race 8 No. 1 Simplicity

He looked like he had seen better days, but the last 3 starts he’s put his hand up and said don’t forget me. Again it looks a race in two between him and Night Lighter in box 7, they squared off last week with Simplicity getting the Bob of the head, and I’ll lean his way again, I think Elite General in 3 will make it hard for Night Lighter to cross this week and we know Simplicity scrapes paint off the rail, so he can hunt up the fence and keep that picket fence going.
