Scott Embry’s Monday Pinjarra Preview Posted on January 24, 2025January 24, 2025 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 CHIN CHIN looks a real one paced type who will appreciate much further than 1500m, however, his debut was okay and this line-up is very thin. There’s four or five winning chances but no clear standout. Drawn better, Brad Parnham on – that’s enough to like him. RORY’S REVENGE shoed a lot of raw talent on debut back at Pinjarra in April 2024. Summer Dickson can get them ready without a trial. TWILIGHT TAIL was just hitting top gear in the final strides of her recent trial. MISTRESS OF WAR is a 12 start maiden but trialled well and ran well fresh. Numbers: 3 – 1 – 8 – 4 Suggested Bet – CHIN CHIN WIN RACE 2 UNGOVERNED trialled well back in December 2023 behind speedy Saturday type King’s Honour and then wasn’t seen again until 13 January 2025. Hard to really take much from his trial because Tash Faithfull was allowed to absolutely walk them over the 950m heat (59.03) but looks to have ability. ADDICTIVE DREAM is making her WA debut and when you think Too Soon and Essentric Nature both won first-up in the State you must pay her plenty of respect. FINALLY REEL ran well on debut. LYN’S STAR improves. Numbers: 4 – 8 – 6 – 7 Suggested Bet – UNGOVERNED WIN RACE 3 AMAMUS looks like he’ll appreciate stepping out on debut over 1400m. In his 950m trials he has only been getting warm late and through the line. Looks like the kind of animal who will take time to wind up through his gears but has a motor. Going to trust the eye and go his way on debut. INVINCIBLE THIEF should have finished closer last start after being held up in the early stages of the straight. MAVIS MYRTLE comes through what we think will be a hot form reference behind Deel Her In. ORDASHUS was in the same race and had excuses. Numbers: 2 – 4 – 5 – 1 Suggested Bet – AMAMUS WIN RACE 4 BROWN MORN was backed into $1.85 in the same maiden as Spanish Kat last start and finished 1.5L behind him. Is a real one paced grinder so thinking that maybe they’ll pull the trigger down the back straight and really put him into the contest. SPANISH KAT went around off 7 days from a Pinjarra maiden into a C2 1850 at Barker and now 8 days later is at the races again in a 2200m maiden. He leads, he gets things uncontested and eventually he’ll pinch one. ULTIMATE DEEL has shades on. DANEA ROCK has shades off and backs up. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 4 – 6 Suggested Bet – BROWN MORN WIN RACE 5 TOURETTO ran well last start behind Prince Of Santos and going to lock that in as the best form reference in the race. Chanel Cooper rode him really well from back in the field and again here he’s likely to land in the second half and look to make his run down the centre. Ready now. DRINKS ON ME was in the same race and finished only half a length behind him. Logical danger. ONLY EYES FOR HIM comes through the All Grunt – Thermosphere Lad form which is already holding up. SHOOT TO FAME beat a moderate bunch last start but is improving. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 4 – 8 Suggested Bet – TOURETTO WIN RACE 6 VILLAGE GIRL is a little ripper. She’s stretched at 1400m but she’s only got 54kg and she maps to get a lovely run close handy in a race without much pace. She’ll be afforded every chance, she’s in form, she runs for the apprentice and the Our Mate Archie form is on show at Ascot on Saturday in the last. SPORTS TALK was tough last start and likely works forward to a prominent position. ANTIQUE STAR is lightly raced. Yet to prove herself outside of wet tracks in winter but that should only be a matter of time. JELLY CAN RUN is more than capable in this grade. Numbers: 6 – 5 – 7 – 1 Suggested Bet – VILLAGE GIRL EACHWAY RACE 7 MAGIC BELLE is an 1000m straight horse. She’s won two races in her life and they’ve both been down the straight at Pinny and last time out she was too good for handy leader Cessation, but no match for impressive winner Just Saint James. She’s not the most talented horse in the field but she’s a trier. GO GO GROOMET hasn’t raced for 45 days which is a red flag, however, like Magic Belle he loves the Pinjarra straight. Big danger. IF I DIN HAMADIME and GENERAL KNOWLEDGE were good last start. Numbers: 6 – 1 – 2 – 5 Suggested Bet – MAGIC BELLE WIN Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 1,2 1,2,4,8 1,2,5,6,7,9,10 1,6 Market Market
