Scott Embry’s Wednesday Pinjarra Preview Posted on December 12, 2023December 12, 2023 | Posted by Scott Embry RACE 1 OBJECTIFY looked the goods at trials. She won a 1000m Belmont Park trial on 20 November and then could have won her most recent trial when going to the line under a hold and matching motors with Uukhai. From barrier 5 should enjoy a nice soft run behind the speed and from there expect she takes beating on debut. MAGNACHINE is a half sister to Flying Missile and Demolish and looks like another who the Parnham family will have a lot of fun with. She was caught three deep in her most recent trial and was still there in the finish without being asked for an effort. Like the look of her. PRINCE VITALITY is the half-brother to Vitalize and didn’t get much room to move at trials. CORRECT CHOICE trialled nicely for his return. Numbers: 12 – 10 – 6 – 2 Suggested Bet – OBJECTIFY WIN RACE 2 MAGIC BELLE has done nothing wrong in her three outings to date. She has finished second to Playing Games, second to Seeyouatthesession and then second to Hezangelic (beating home subsequent winner Plato Or Plomo). Drawn to find the outside fence and as we saw at the opening meeting the two 1000m straight winners were on speed and outside fence (Mythical Miss & Bayezid). Right place, right time. UUKHAI has shown ability in each trial over two preparations and the most recent with a set of blinkers was excellent when fighting back underneath of Objectify. Get a good sighter into that trial form in Race 1. DE ZANE GREY is going well and can come across with Magic Belle towards the outside. I’M NIPOTE is another drawn on the ‘right’ side. Numbers: 12 – 9 – 4 – 8 Suggested Bet – MAGIC BELLE WIN RACE 3 LOST GRAVITY went from a maiden win straight into a C3. Was beaten 1.4L behind Bayezid and Magnalee and should have finished closer. Copped a fair old bump and check out of the barriers and it was sufficient for Misty Bazeley to ask the question in the Stewards room. All things considered it was super effort and now he drops back into a C1 and reunites with Jarrad Noske. Ticks plenty of boxes. MYTHICAL MISS won same day, same track, same distance and the maidens went quicker than the C3 gallopers which is a good indication that she’ll more than measure up here. MAGNUM CLASS won on debut down the straight and now has blinkers first time. DENNIS CHOUX brings intrigue and an element of unknown. Numbers: 1 – 7 – 2 – 3 Suggested Bet – LOST GRAVITY WIN RACE 4 STARRING KNIGHT and VITALIZE both look extremely well placed back into a C5. STARRING KNIGHT is amazingly already a 4x winner in this Grade and his recent form alongside Yonga Lass stands out back to a provincial midweeker. VITALIZE trialled super behind Costazita and then showed she was in for a big preparation with a solid first-up run in a 66+ 1200 behind Playthatfunkymusic. They’re drawn to get near identical runs to each other and don’t think there’s much at all between them. They look the two. WAKAN TANKA doesn’t win out of turn but he tries hard. LORD GANNICUS does everything wrong but continues to really attack the line. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 12 – 4 Suggested Bet – STARRING KNIGHT WIN RACE 5 AUTUMN REBEL was luckless three starts ago behind Zipaway who has gone on to win the Group 2 WA Guineas and run third in the Group 1 Northerly Stakes. Two starts ago Autumn Rebel gunned down Full Of Merit from a mile off and then was only 3.5L off Zipaway, A Lot Of Good Men and Super Smink in the Guineas. Real X-Factor runner. VALLEY OF QUEENS won by 5L last start meets many of those rivals again here. Hard to see any of them turning the tables on her and from barrier 3 Chris Parnham can have her where ever he wants in the run. Has gone better since taking a sit and being saved up but she has won races leading so there’s no reason she has to get that far off them here. KISSES FROM KELLY is knocking on the door. FAST FLICKER is racing like a mile will suit. Numbers: 9 – 7 – 2 – 6 Suggested Bet – AUTUMN REBEL WIN RACE 6 BONNY ROCK is making the difficult step from a maiden into a C1 in this bizarre scenario where as a 3 year old filly she’s rising 3kg in weight. Not easy to go back to back in the WA handicapping conditions but she looks above average and she races right up over the speed. Gets every chance from the draw to win again but recent history isn’t exactly on her side. CHARMING BELLE looked like she didn’t really appreciate the wet tracks over winter. Forgiving her last campaign. SUPERIORIZE was a great return from a long spell when finishing fifth in a three way photo for third. Just needs luck from the carpark. NOBEL KNIGHT wasn’t bad last start when deep throughout on a Saturday. Numbers: 7 – 10 – 1 – 12 Suggested Bet – BONNY ROCK WIN RACE 7 DREAMERS NEVER DIE showed no tactical speed first-up, chased hard second-up behind Go Go Grommet (who he meets 1.5kg better here) and then third-up went to the Listed Lee Steere Stakes when beaten 2.4L behind Investment Strategy and Generosity. His only win was in a set of winkers which are reapplied here and he looks ready to win another race. REGAL STATUE broke her maiden in style and beat a handy one in Rocket Juice in the process. Dangerous with a split. GO GO GROMMET sat three deep the trip last start and was too tough for them. Might have to do it the tradesman’s way again. VILLAGE GIRL is already proven in and around this level and should enjoy the run of the race from the draw. Numbers: 13 – 14 – 1 – 7 Suggested Bet – DREAMERS NEVER DIE WIN Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 1,2 2,6,7,9 1,2,7,10,12,14 1,5,7,11,13,14 Market Market
