Race 1

BON APPETIT has been frustrating to punters of late but can settle closer from the draw and gives the impression 2400m will suit. ROYAL PHAROAH will strip fitter for a solid effort at his first try at the trip. RAMBAULT is hard fit and gets blinkers back on. SLIPPERY CEEJAY and ALPINE ROCKET are in the game.

Race 2

GALAN should get his chance, he’s been racing consistently and hit the line strongly last start. CHIMED will be at peak fitness and gets blinkers back on. IRISH CAVALRY was well backed on debut and should appreciate the extra distance. JENNI SWENESSE covered some extra ground last time and maps for a better run third up.

Suggested Bet: Galan to win

Race 3

SHE’S BULLETPROOF may have struck a smart galloper on debut and she chased bravely. SPARKLING only went down narrowly first up with a big gap back to the others. AERIAL BAY has been jumping out wellenough to respect. PINK CHANDON has been jumping out nicely and should be strong late. YERONGA SONGBIRD and SAVEE have claims.

Suggested Bet: She’s Bulletproof to win

Race 4

FLYING KNEE ran well on debut. He resumes from an injury enforced break and has jumped out in good style. GLOBAL KING should get a soft run from the draw and the form through his last run is holding up well. RATE OF KNOTS, SAKASU and ZWASP have all shown talent at the jumpouts. SIBEL has jumped out well for her second campaign and should be part of the speed.

Race 5

ZOUTHUR went down fighting at his first run as a gelding and will strip fitter. FACE THE JURY ended up in an awkward spot first up and will likely press forward. SCREAM is fit and consistent. ABADDON will be charging late. WALTER SPUR is a previous forst up winner and has jumped out well.

Race 6

MORRYL MORAL will strip fitter for his last run and gives the impression 1500m will suit. FUN ENUFF won his maiden in good style last start and can make his own luck. AKROTIRI has jumped out ok to resume at a suitable trip. PAINT ME RED is another that can make his own luck and races well here. WAITAPU boasts an impressive second up record.

Race 7

PEACE TREATY will strip fitter for a solid first up run behind a promising filly. LIKYA WAY won well first up after doing some early work and looks capable of measuring up. OPTUME has been consistent in her career to date and has been jumping out well to resume. SHE’S NOTORIOUS will strip fitter, as was noted in the stewards report at her latest run.

Race 8

BOMBASTIC BOY didn’t have the best of luck last start and drops in grade with a claim. SHAKATTAK looks a strong danger, the form out of his first up run has held up well through Who Dares. PISANELLO showed good fight to break his maiden last time. SHAMBO and EMPRESSIVE ENUFF have claims.
