Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on January 20, 2023January 20, 2023 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 4 No.2 Logan Street Lion I’d been following this one in Brisbane where he’d put together a very consistent run of placings however the step up in distance was what he needed. He got that and arrived in time to just get in last start here and now rises a further 200m which is only going to suit him even better. He gets J Mac to steer from a good gate and can win again! RACE 5 No.5 Passeggiata Love speedy horses being ridden for speed and that’s exactly what Bjorn Baker has done with this unbeaten Winning Rupert filly who has simply been too slick for her rivals at both starts to date. Rachel King has ridden her at both victories letting her run not holding her up, I can’t see any reason as to why those plans will change on Saturday and I’m expecting her to bring up the hat trick. RACE 6 No.1 Looks Like Elvis Looks a good price to me and can be confidently backed even on an each-way basis. Surely he’s better than these and under the conditions of the race gets in well at the weights. Nice and fresh from a good gate with a jockey who knows him well on top he really should be going very close to winning this. His record at the track may not read so well on paper yet he has run some very good races here without luck. Quaddie 7, 9, 5 2, 4, 1, 12 7, 1, 11 16, 11, 3 Market Market
