The Scout: NBA Finals Game 1 Posted on June 2, 2022 | Posted by The Scout Boston Celtics @ Golden State Warriors Game 1 one of the NBA Finals will tip off in San Francisco with the Golden State Warriors hosting the Boston Celtics. The Warriors not only have home-court advantage, but an extra three days rest following their comfortable 4-1 Western Conference Finals win over the Mavericks. It’s been a long and bumpy road to the Finals for Boston who have fought out back-to-back seven game series against the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat. While they have no official injuries of concern, there are definitely a few banged-up bodies. Steve Kerr and the Warriors will carry the advantage of experience into this Finals matchup with the core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green having won three championships together. They have been flawless at home this playoffs too, coming in with a perfect 9-0 record. Boston’s previous two opponents have had an offense that revolves around (and relies on) a single player (Giannis and Jimmy Butler). The Warriors move the ball better than any team in the NBA and have a number of players capable of going off for 25+ on a given night. I think the Celtics can adjust, just not in Game 1. Suggested Bet: Golden State -9.5 (Line) @ $2.90* *Odds correct as at 9am, 2nd June 2022. Market Market
