Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on March 16, 2022March 19, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson Race 4 No.1 Le Lude Progressive mare from the John Thompson yard who absolutely bolted in second up from a break. The extra trip shouldn’t be an issue here and she looks a mare on the rise. She needs a bit of luck from the wide draw but if she gets it, she is clearly the horse to beat again. She is still on the up this six-year-old. Race 6 No.1 Anamoe Had to settle for second in the Randwick Guineas but there was no doubt in my mind he was clearly the best run in the race. He was just slowly away and got back further than they would have liked but his late work was outstanding. He arguably should have won a Cox Plate at 2040m last spring and he looks set to excel out in trip here in the Rosehill Guineas. He can atone here. Race 9 No.2 Big Parade This five-year-old really came of age last preparation winning the Sydney Stakes before a break. He seems to be getting better every campaign and his recent trials were super. He puts himself on speed and he has a great first up record winning three from five fresh in the past. He has to carry a bit of weight but should be in the finish at good odds.
