Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on February 14, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 8 Fontella Beaten by Jimmy Goat Rose last start but set to make amends here. This race looks even easier and she really should hurtle straight around to the front and be impossible to run down if she finds that arm. No excuses this time. Race 8 No. 5 Jimmy Goat Rose Quickly found the top early last week and as we know, when he’s out and running, he doesn’t get run down. No real early splitters inside him here and he should replicate that win. A sub 22 dog, with the exception of the 8,none of these run close to that. Looks the play here and should be each way value. Race 10 No. 6 Hungry Hippy and 8 Shoe Shine Jo The 6 is close to a win contrary to what her form reads. No luck at all lately and only needs clear room to muster to win this. She can go much quicker than her recent form shows. The 8 just couldn’t get under the red early enough last week but launched when he did. Can handle the outside and is racing well. Will be there at the end hitting the line with a sweep around. ANGLE PARK Race 5 No. 6 Our Winnie Step back down to the short trip will suit here and if her usual box manners come out, she can lead throughout. Well drawn off the track over this trip, she will be the one to catch if she crosses and they won’t run her down if that happens. Race 8 No. 4 Finniss Eagle and 5 Testarossa Boy The 4 is dropping back from a crack at the longer trip. A theory I’ve long held is dogs go much better when stepped up and straight back in trip. He has also been racing much tougher opponents lately. Will be strong and a clear run see him hit the podium. The 5 is capable of stepping and leading and he is worth a smokie save here. If he got away in front, there not many last split dogs to nab him other than the 4. Main go 4 EW and save on 5 EW. Race 12 No. 1 Victa Maggie and 5 Saint Candy The 1 will find a stack off this draw. Can go fast early and will almost lead and then becomes hard to catch. The 5 is a very good when she can also lead and we are giving her one last chance to show something here. She will be a price and tonight could be the night. One of these will surely hold the arm. Market Market
