Chris Nelson’s Gold Coast Best Bets Posted on November 25, 2021November 27, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 3 No.14 Becandleni Locally trainer mare who I thought was most unlucky not to win at Eagle Farm last start. She jumped well enough and looked set to hold a prominent position however was continually shuffled back around midrace to corner almost last. She made good ground to the line running into third spot beaten less than a length. Loves this track and won 2 of 3 on heavy ground. RACE 4 No.6 Wardaddy Lightly raced gelding from the Lees yard who split a couple of very handy types at Doomben last start being Me Me Lagarde and Putontheredlight. He found the front and although able to gain a ‘breather’ midrace did a good job considering he was coming off a Port Macquarie Class 1 placing the start prior. Note his debut win was by over 4 lengths on a heavy (8) track. RACE 8 No.1 Wandabaa Tomorrow’s very wet surface (should we even go ahead) is going to suit this Newcastle trained mare who brings a strong form line through The Hunter run on her home track last start where she beat all bar the winner Lost And Running. That horses recent form ties in with the likes of Nature Strip through The Everest! She’s a winner and place getter at her two heavy track starts which will be all important tomorrow. Quaddie 10, 14, 16 2, 3, 4 1, 19 21, 12, 16, 7 Market Market
