Chris Nelson’s Doomben Best Bets Posted on October 21, 2021October 22, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 2 No.4 Honkytonk Diva Kelly Schweida trained filly who kicked off her racing career with a tidy second here at Doomben three weeks back. Very heavily backed on that occasion she was clearly seen to be doing her best work over the latter stages of the race. With that experience and a slightly longer trip in her favour tomorrow she’ll prove tough to hold out. RACE 6 No.4 Rayjen Lightly raced filly who has only had the two starts to date winning on debut before running into the very smart Hinged at her second start, we’ve seen that filly race well down south during the spring franking the form line. This one’s had a nice little trial to have her in readiness for tomorrow’s return and from the good alley with a claim for Leah Kilner should prove very competitive. RACE 9 No.8 Sir Warwick Ex Victorian who is just loving life in Queensland having won all 3 starts for the new yard. Yes he takes the step from midweek to Saturday grade however he’s had no issue with the class rises so far and that latest win was in very quick time just powering away from his opposition to win by almost 6 lengths. Hard to beat once again! Quaddie 6, 11, 9, 8 19, 13, 9, 7 8, 2, 12, 3 2, 5, 9, 1 Market Market
