RACE 6 No.6 Latino Blend

Team Snowden filly who ran a terrific second in the Silver Shadow here 4 weeks back closing strongly after a tardy getaway. She was one of only two runners in the race to break 23 seconds for the final 400m, the other was Jamaea who at her next start won the Furious Stakes going home right over the top of the leaders late. 4 weeks between runs wont concern this filly who is bred to get at least a mile and keep in mind she’s had a trial to keep her ticking over which was a very soft one when unplaced behind Entriviere. Great each-way chance again.

RACE 7 No.7 Verry Elleegant

Happy to take even money about this multiple Group 1 winning mare racking up another victory at the highest level. So gallant in defeat first up when tracking wide the entire way in the Winx Stakes here a month back she’ll strip much fitter and from gate 2 will enjoy a much cosier trip. The slight cut in the ground suits as does the step up to 1600m.

RACE 8 No.5 Rothfire

Yes, it’s a big ask to come back from a near career ending injury and take on the likes of Nature Strip and co first outing back which is exactly what this very smart gelding is facing. His trials have been super winning both in slick time without being pressured, the stable have been very confident without getting carried away as trials are not Group 2 races. I’m suggesting we back him on an each-way basis.
