The Scout: EPL Week 5 Posted on September 16, 2021September 16, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Aston Villa vs Everton Everton (4th) will be hoping to extend their unbeaten start to the Premier League season when they travel to Aston Villa (12th) on Saturday. The Toffees have made an excellent start with new manager Rafa Benitez, picking up three wins and one draw from their opening four games. Through these four games, they’ve scored 10 goals with Dominic Calvert-Lewin (3 goals) most dangerous. Villa have not lit the world on fire with a very indifferent start to their Premier League campaign, recording one win, one draw and two losses. Offensively, they have not looked sharp, and although bringing in veteran goal scorer Danny Ings, they haven’t found their rhythm up front. Suggested Bet: Everton (Match Result) @ $3* Tottenham vs Chelsea Tottenham’s first defeat came last matchday at the hands of Crystal Palace, however the Spurs were handed an early red, so they have their excuses. Goal scoring has been an issue for Tottenham, only managing three goals in four matches, more worrying as they come up against arguably the best defense in Europe. Chelsea have looked a legitimate contender for the Premier League title after four games, their only blemish a 1-1 draw with Liverpool. The defensive performance in that game highlighted just how stingy this team can be, withstand numerous attacking forays while a man down. Romelu Lukaku could arguably be the signing of the season (although Man United will have something to say about that) with the Belgium centre-forward giving Chelsea a legitimate finisher up front. Lukaku has scored three goals in as many appearances and his strength and speed will trouble this Tottenham defense. Suggested Bet: Chelsea (Match Result) @ $1.75* West Ham vs Manchester United West Ham have started the season undefeated with two wins and two draws which puts them in 8th place on the table. Manchester United on the other hand are undefeated, having won three matches with one draw, putting them at the top of the Premier League. The Hammers have had an inconsistent start to their campaign but have shown glimpses of their potential that could see them contend for a top six finish. Michail Antonio has really embraced the number 9 striker role and has flourished in the opening matches, however he will not take part in this match. Manchester United are among the favourites to win the Premier League after huge off-season signings of Jordon Sancho, Raphael Varane and (of course) Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo is arguably the best player in the world and his return to Old Trafford could have a monumental impact on this team. Not only is Ronaldo a goal scoring machine, but his aura, experience and leadership will bring a newfound confidence to the group. It does not matter how old he is or what the critics may say, Cristiano Ronaldo scores goals, and no one does it better. The Portuguese forward has already opened his goal scoring account in the Premier League, finding the back of the net twice against Newcastle. Ronaldo also scored the opening goal in his first Champions League game midweek. Suggested Bet: Cristiano Ronaldo First Goalscorer @ $4* *Odds correct as at 6pm, 16th September 2021. Market Market
