Chris Nelson’s Doomben Best Bets Posted on August 21, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 3 No.8 Chico Milagro Lightly raced galloper from the Gollan stable with plenty of improvement to come. That’s a frightening thought for his rivals tomorrow considering he’s won 2 of his past 4 starts by a cumulative margin of 9.3 lengths with one of those defeats being unlucky when held up! In a race with limited chances can once again park off the speed before proving too strong late. RACE 4 No.10 Voila Chris Waller trained mare who capped off a couple of close up finishing efforts with a Sunshine Coast win in easier company last time out. Yes she is back up in grade however what she is looking for is further than 1200m and tomorrow she gets out to 1350m. From the good draw she won’t be far away in the run and is clearly the one to beat. RACE 7 No.13 Say Haya Very consistent filly who takes the step up to open company tomorrow. Whilst I don’t think she’s the best horse going around in the race and is in no way rating big figures she just does look the one to gain the soft run. There’s good speed up front which she can park off without giving away too much start. With clear running in the straight she’ll finish hard.
