Race 3 – No. 8  Hairpin Trigger

Looks better suited to longer and is unplaced in all 5 starts to date when finishing no closer than midfield in any of those outings. She has had no luck in the majority of those 5 starts though and may appreciate some room to move out wider. Will be doing her best work late and is worth a throw at the stumps at juicy odds.

Race 4 – No. 5  West On Roger

Suffered severe interference from the rails draw in his Winter Maiden Classic heat last start but should find this line up easier and is capable of returning to the podium with better luck in running.

Race 6 – No. 3  Naughty Gunn

Breeding suggests she should see out the trip with her mother a multiple placegetter over the middle and staying trips. She has plenty of early toe so will be up on the pace early and will give her rivals a good run for their money.
