Race 4 – No. 1  On The Take

A worthy winner in this company two back when posting a strong 22.87. He was working into it nicely last start before finding bother and gets his chance to make amends in the coveted red alley.

Race 5 – No. 8  Royce Monelli

Will find this more to his liking after peaking late in both the heat and final of the Young Stars Classic. Has a good record in this rug only needs average luck to return to his winning best.

Race 6 – No. 1  Naughty Gunn

A gifted sprinter who returned to the 490m with a brilliant 27.58 win in this company last time. She is unbeaten in red and that trend looks set to continue here.

Each Way

Race 1 – No. 7  Rippin’ Crow

Has done the majority of his racing in the city so should appreciate the class relief. He had excuses in his only run over this journey at the beginning of his career and while he doesn’t have the best record out wide, a win would not surprise.

Impressed in good time when leading all the way from the opposite side of the draw last week. Can make it two on the trot from the favourable draw.

Race 4 – No. 7  Eighty Eight

Found trouble at a vital stage last week so best to forgive that run. His last victory was from this very draw and he does have the fitness edge over his kennel-mate and likely favourite Starlight Yoyo (box 2). Keep following.

Race 5 – No. 1  Who’s Got Cash

Talented chaser who has been racing well without winning. He is a risky beginner but only needs to hold his own into the first turn and if he does, he should prove a bit too classy for these.

Race 7 – No. 2  Empty Chamber

Not the quickest of beginners but he does possess a strong finish. He was doing his best work late to when grabbing 4th after racing rearwards throughout last start and should play a major part in the finish in this line up.
