RACE 5 No.2 Great Keppell

Really looked the goods winning at Doomben on Exhibition Wednesday before repeating the dose at the Gold Coast next outing. Last time out he settled too far back giving away a big start before closing hard in a race not run to suit over 1350m. Tomorrow he goes to 1600m which looks very suitable and from an ideal gate he’ll likely park a lot closer. Big chance!

RACE 7 No.8 Auerbach

Super consistent galloper from the Chris Waller operation who takes the step up to open company tomorrow after a run of three straight placings in restricted grade behind some tidy rivals. Each of those races have been run in fast time with strong formlines going forward. He drops plenty in weight for tomorrow’s assignment which will help to offset that rise in class, he’ll measure up.

RACE 9 No.9 Flaming Boss

Unbeaten galloper from the Team Sears stable who can make it 3 from 3 tomorrow. The debut Doomben win was impressive racing wide on the lead before dashing clear of his rivals early in the straight, that race has provided five subsequent winners (including himself). Off to Ipswich for start number two he ran his rivals into the ground bolting in clocking slick time. Well up to this!
