Scott Embry’s Thursday Narrogin Preview Posted on April 16, 2019July 24, 2020 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 MIRISISTIBLE should roll straight to the top and that should be the last they see of her. This is a very soft C2 race and she looks to have a bit on these. NO DUST ON ME can run a cheeky race from time to time. TIME AND TRUTH finds another new home and she can run a place without surprising. SPORTHOUSE DREAM next best. Numbers: 1 – 5 – 3 – 2 Suggested Bet – MIRISISTIBLE WIN Race 2 MY BLUEBOY showed ability at trials and is yet to really produce on race day. Has been well in the market at both starts without flattering. Gets his best chance yet to lead or box seat and break his maiden. Another who looks the winner on paper but will be likely odds-on. BUFF MAN has had his fair share of trainers and cracks at it. This is one of the weakest he has seen. SASTA, OUR MAGNUSSON, FAITH IN RIKKI are all limited and fight out the other minors. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 5 – 4 Suggested Bet – MY BLUEBOY WIN Race 3 GLASGOW GIRL vs CHISANO makes for an interesting little scamper. CHISANO is electric quick but does really paddle late so going to side with GLASGOW GIRL to sit over the speed and keep coming over the top late. CHISANO will lead and will give a great sight. The winner comes from them. CLAPPA THUNDER can run his usual honest race. ELLENS CHOICE may be allowed to run by the young apprentice. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 Suggested Bet – GLASGOW GIRL WIN Race 4 SPHINX SECRETS trialed like a bomb before the start of last preparation and then couldn’t get the job done in some average Geraldton maidens. Again trialed really well for this first-up assignment so gets another chance. ONE OH ONE has ability. The trial left a bit to be desired but Ryan Hill can be a hard one to judge at the trials. Draws the inside and looks the danger. WEST END THEATRE has also trialed well for debut. ADRASTEA can run a race at odds. Numbers: 1 – 3 – 7 – 4 Suggested Bet – SPHINX SECRETS Race 5 CALAG was the target of strong support on debut and ran a very nice race only being gunned down late in a race which has proven a strong form reference. If he comes out running and settles on speed he should be winning. LELIO TRIESTI ran a big race on debut at a huge price. Keep safe. LITTLE FLIRT was a good enough run on debut to improve into a placing here. CASH ME OUTSIDE improved lengths from her first trial to second. Numbers: 2 – 3 – 7 – 8 Suggested Bet – CALAG WIN Race 6 THE TOTE CRUSHER ran a great race at his first start for the Mark Wright stable. He makes a living out of these tried maidens over a staying trip and most would expect the Impi form will hold. SCINTILLATING simply will not get a better chance to win a maiden than this. If he can’t get the job done he could be moving on. DIAMONDANNIVERSARY showed some staying potential last prep. DON’T BE TARDY looked very one paced at Geraldton. Stepping out in trip should suit. Numbers: 3 – 1 – 2 – 6 Suggested Bet – THE TOTE CRUSHER EACHWAY Race 7 FAST AS THE WIND has won far stronger races than this throughout her career and this is as weak a race as she has seen all campaign. GLEN ALBYN really does seem to thrive at the Narrogin circuit. At a price, with an in form apprentice aboard, he can run a race. ROSIE RED DRESS was an impressive winner in a weak C1 last start. Can go on with it here. LAW MAJOR can never be discounted as a blowout chance. Numbers: 2 – 5 – 3 – 7 Suggested Bet – FAST AS THE WIND WIN Race 8 IT COMES NATURAL has won two on the bounce at Barker and from the draw should slide across to sit right over the speed. Can make it a hat-trick without surprising. RECOILED is really on his last chance. Has now missed the kick three times in his career and if he bungles the start again he gets life from a punters perspective. His peak form has lengths on these but he has been out of form for a while. KING LOUIE is arguably one of the unluckiest horses in the State. Finds traffic for fun. MORGS FREEMAN next best. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 4 – 7 Suggested Bet – IT COMES NATURAL WIN Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 2 1,3 2,5 FLD Market Market
