Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on January 25, 2019 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 1 No.1 Espaaniyah Waterhouse/Bott trained filly who has only had the single start for a win at Moonee Valley back on Cox Plate Day. Sent out in a recent Randwick trial she race up on the lead and held her rivals under a stranglehold in the run to the line. She could have won by a space and appears very talented. Race 7 No.4 Flow Godolphin trained galloper who didn’t have much luck at Doomben when resuming from a spell recently. He definitely should have finished closer than the official 3.5L margin and has since been back to the trials winning in easy fashion. Second up record is good as is his 1400 form, hard to beat. Race 8 No.7 Reckless Choice Interesting to see trainer Steve O’Dea ship this one down from Brisbane for tomorrow’s race, he obviously thinks the horse is up to the task and so do I. He really hit his straps at his two wins prior to spelling and returned in good order at the Gold Coast beating all bar the winner on Magic Millions Day. He generally takes a run or two which suggests he’s well forward this time in.
