The Scout: EPL Matchday 17 Posted on December 14, 2018December 14, 2018 | Posted by The Scout Wolverhampton vs Bournemouth 15th December, 11pm WST Wolves have won two in row with victories over Chelsea and Newcastle in the past fortnight. Sitting 10th their confidence looks to be back as they go after their first hat-trick of wins for the season. Bournemouth have lost five of their last six, but unbelievably still sit 8th on the League table. The Cherries poor form comes off the back of an incredibly tough run of fixtures, with the team having won seven wins out of 11 matches this season against teams outside of the “big six.” Wolves have been attacking well scoring four goals in their last two matches, including two against a strong Chelsea defense. Irish left back Matt Doherty has been impressive with three goals and three assists for the season. Bournemouth’s 16 matches have seen 51 goals and when playing away from home their matches average 3.25 goals per game. Over 2.5 goals has featured in 13 of their last 14 matches across all competitions. Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 Goals @ $1.88* Fulham vs West Ham 16th December, 1.30am WST There was positivity surrounding Fulham at the start of the season. They spent big on transfers, but almost halfway through the season they sit dead last on the table. West Ham (11th) are on an opposite trajectory to their hosts. Despite starting the season with four straight losses, they enter this weekend on a four game win streak and as one of the form teams in the Premier League. Star West Ham goal scorer Marko Arnautović went down with an injury two matches ago and it looked almost certain that West Ham’s route to goal would suffer. It didn’t. The Hammers look better than ever thanks to the brilliance of Brazilian midfielder Felipe Anderson who has scored 5 goals in 6 matches. Claudio Ranieri will have his squad prepared for this game and Fulham should be competitive however their defense is the worst in the league and even under his tutelage the backline is still incredibly vulnerable. Suggested Bet: Match Result West Ham @ $2.40 Southampton vs Arsenal 16th December, 9.30pm WST Things didn’t get off to a great start for newly appointed Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl with his side losing 1-0 to Cardiff last weekend. Sitting 19th on the table, the Saints are now in a battle to avoid relegation and injuries to some key players is not helping their cause. Aresenal are unbeaten in the Premier League since August and have appeared to have found stablilty with a regular starting XI. Currently the league’s top goal scorer (10), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been in devastating form and he could very well run riot against the Southampton defense. Arsenal are just goal differential outside of the top four, and would love nothing more than the chance to leapfrog bitter rivals Tottenham with a win here. Suggested Bet: Match Result Arsenal @ $1.90 *Odds correct as at 2.30pm WST 14th December 2018 Market Market
