Scott’s Saturday Belmont Preview Posted on September 21, 2017September 21, 2017 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 BLOOMY’S SUN was caught wide on debut and did things wrong. If he could find the spot outside the lead or take up the running he goes close. BURNING MAGIC draws a gate for the first time in months. She’s ultra consistent. NO ORDINARY GIRL should have no excuses from the inside gate. SAVUNO has gone well at both Australian runs. Numbers: 5 – 7 – 9 – 4 Suggested Bet – BLOOMY’S SUN Race 2 MONEY MAHER is undefeated this preparation and this field looks no tougher than what he has encountered so far. ARRUM BOY could slide across and take up a position outside the lead. His run last weekend was excellent. MOSCHARD has been trialing well for his debut and looks to have ability. REYKJAVIK will appreciate the extra furlong. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 6 – 2 Suggested Bet – MONEY MAHER WIN Race 3 UNDISCLOSED was never a winning chance first-up once she drew the carpark and was unable to get a position in running. Improves sharply here and this looks winnable. GLIMMER GIRL will settle off the back of them and charge late. RHI’S ROCKET is a talented speedster. Has had his fair share of issues but trial was effortless. SLIK SAM next best off a spot run. Numbers: 6 – 4 – 3 – 8 Suggested Bet – UNDISCLOSED EACHWAY Race 4 JUST LIKE FIRE is back fresh from contesting the Group and Listed 3 year old features. She has a very sharp turn of foot and meets only moderate opposition. VEGA DIOR stretched out very nicely late when tested. The step up in trip looks right up her alley. BIG CARLOINE is as consistent as they come. NASHVILLE CAT looks better suited back up in trip. Numbers: 5 – 9 – 1 – 7 Suggested Bet – JUST LIKE FIRE WIN Race 5 TYCOON TARGET was a strong first-up winner. Looks as though he will get a soft lead and from there is the one to catch. YOUNG GINA went much better last weekend when on top of the ground. Has to be a minor question mark surrounding the likely track condition. PRIZE CATCH raced flat last start. ELECTION grows a leg in the rain. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 3 – 8 Suggested Bet – TYCOON TARGET EACHWAY Race 6 OUR FINEST MOMENT bypassed the Hannans Handicap and backs up off 7 days from a strong performance in defeat. Drawn awkwardly but is very consistent and versatile. UNIVERSAL LAW was a much better run than reads on paper last start. COME ON BOARD is a strong on pace type down in the weights. PROPERANTES didn’t handle Kalgoorlie, forget he ran. Numbers: 4 – 9 – 5 – 1 Suggested Bet – OUR FINEST MOMENT WIN Race 7 ZUCCHEROS should get the conditions to suit him, a wet track and a hot top end speed. His trial was sensational and he has an electric turn of foot. AGACHAR CRUZ put in a ripper at his most recent. He might need to dry ground to do his best work. POP HERO excels in these conditions and is throw in at the weights. I AM INCREDIBLE should get every chance. Numbers: 1 – 5 – 11 – 10 Suggested Bet – ZUCCHEROS EACHWAY Race 8 FINAL SALUTE has form around some of the best of last seasons 3 year olds. His trial was excellent and from the gun gate should get every chance first up. SETTLERS CREEK is yet to come up this preparation but after the claim is very well in at the weights. MASSACHUSETTS is a tease, she gets back and will need everything to go her way. ATLANTA BLUE rarely puts a bad one in. Numbers: 5 – 1 – 10 – 7 Suggested Bet – FINAL SALUTE WIN SuperPick - Race 8 No. 5 FINAL SALUTE - Win Boost Quaddie (Races 5 – 8) 1,2,3,4 1,4,5,9 1,5,6,7,10,11 1,5 Bet Now
