Michael McDermott’s Weekend Greyhound Preview Posted on August 4, 2017 | Posted by Michael McDermott Mandurah Friday 4th August 2017 Race 5 – No. 4 Supreme Ollie SuperPick – Money Back, Run 2nd. Not the best of beginners but he does possess one of the biggest finishes around just as he showed last week when flying home from near last to be beaten less than 2 lengths when 2nd to Fun Boss. He has proven himself in this company and must be respected. Race 7 – No. 3 Smooth Talented chaser who has finished in the top 3 in 22 of 28 over this distance. He won 3 in a row in FFA company earlier in the year and has been thereabouts without much luck since. Worth supporting at Each Way odds. Race 9 – No. 3 Miss America Better known over longer but she has finished no further back than 2nd in 2 runs over this trip and did break the 23sec mark in each. She has plenty of early toe and looks the toughest to beat. Bet Now! Cannington Saturday 5th August 2017 Race 6 – No. 4 Found A Diamond Found all sorts of bother after the start at Mandurah last week but still produced a remarkable effort to finish 3rd when steaming home from last. He’s unbeaten over this distance and from this draw and while this is the toughest line up he’s met, he must be considered a major player. Race 7 – No. 7 Sassy Ginger SuperPick Profit Plus 20% (Place) Talented chaser who has been racing well below his best but he has an impressive record over the journey and has gone as quick as 29.53 in the past from a similar draw. Proven in this company and improvement should be expected. Race 8 – No. 1 Art Noveau Versatile chaser who grows another leg from this inside draw. She is capable of exploding from the lids and has led all the way in a slick 29.51 in red in the past. Dropping back in distance and looks hard to hold out. QUADDIE (Race 5 to 8): 2, 4, 5 / 2, 3, 4, 5 / 1, 2, 3, 7 / 1, 3, 4, 6, 7. $50 for 20.83% TRIFECTA – Race 3 3, 4, 5, 8 / 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 / 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8. $30 for 30.00% FIRST FOUR – Race 9 1, 2, 8 / 1, 2, 8 / 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 / 1, 2 4, 6, 7, 8. $50 for 92.59% Bet Now!
