Chris Nelson’s Randwick Tips Posted on April 14, 2017April 14, 2017 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 2 No.10 Yuma Desert Team Snowden galloper who resumes from a break tomorrow. She looks nicely placed in this grade down on 56kg compared to her efforts before the break in slightly stronger grade with bigger weights. She handles the wet ground well, races well fresh and comes off a recent barrier trial win which is always a good sign from this stable. Expecting her to run very well. RACE 4 No.1 Takedown Gary Moore trained sprinter who was in hot form last campaign finally breaking through at Group 1 level in Perth before far from disgraced at Sha Tin on the big International Day back in December again in Group 1 company when beaten only 2 lengths. He resumes here with a good fresh record (yet to miss a place including a win) having won a recent barrier trial in soft fashion. Should win this if anywhere near fit. RACE 6 No.1 Invader Another runner from the Snowden yard who will be looking to make it consecutive Group 1’s in tomorrow’s Champagne Stakes for the 2yo’s. As expected he relished the step up to 1400m in the Sires Produce storming home recording the best closing sectionals of the race. That suggests the mile will be a perfect fit and he should prove too strong once again. Best Bet – Race 6 No.1 Invader Best Value – Race 2 No.10 Yuma Desert SuperPick – Race 6 No.1 Invader – Money back 2nd placing (up to $50) Quaddie (55%) 1, 8 1, 4, 5, 9 1, 2, 3 1, 4, 10
