Week 12 of the NBL tips off with the clash between Adelaide and Melbourne.

Adelaide are fresh off the bye last week and Melbourne fresh off their worst game of the year, losing (81-96) at home to Sydney as $1.13 favourites.  Previous to the bye, Adelaide halved the series 1-1 with Townsville, defeating the Crocs at home (76-66) following their classic 101-100 OT thriller.  The last time these two teams met in Round 9 at Hisense Arena, United hung on for a very unimpressive win (89-86) with the 36ers led by Jerome Randle storming home to outscore United 44-36 in the second half.

Prediction

Adelaide have been a good home court side to back, winning 5 of  their past 7 games (only losses the Wildcats and Cairns) and Melbourne have gone 1-4 on the road past five games.  The 36 ers have been away from home the past 4 of 5 games and will be very hard to beat, fresh at home and should take care of Melbourne who look a very non-cohesive team at the minute.
