Race 1

Rain forecast throughout the day and it will be crucial to monitor any impact on rating/pattern. VON HAUKE has moved well in a couple of recent jumpouts and looks suited at this trip on debut. TICK TOCK LADY has also been jumping out well and should appreciate 1300m. RED FOX has a fitness and experience edge, he maps for a good run. CRITICAL, NEVICATA and PRINCESS TOSEN look the other key hopes.

Race 2

MAGNAPUR, who I have a small interest in, is racing consistently and gives the impression 1400m will be ok. ENOTIS had no luck at a crucial stage first up. ALBANIAN BAY has returned in good form and will be at peak fitness. MUSGRAVE is in the mix with any luck from the draw. YASUKE looks suited at 1400m on debut. DREAMTIME GIRL was good first up and the tongue tie goes on after finishing down the track last start.

Race 3

MANCO MAN won an easier race in good style last time, his previous form through So Unusual reads well and he looks suited stepping up in trip. STATE SQUAD was below expectations second up but is capable of improving getting out to 2400m on a spacious track. REGAL VALOUR has returned well and gives the impression he will cope with this trip now. DONATRICE and VADABOY have claims.

Suggested Bet: Manco Man to win

Race 4

MISO has a bright future, he was only grabbed on the line by another promising galloper last start and winkers go on today. VOLATORE had no luck in a stronger race first up and looks well placed dropping in grade with the claim. SHANGHAI VENTURE had been racing well prior to breaking her maiden in good style at her latest start. TOOGOODFORTOORAK, drops in grade, he had excuses last start after a dominant win in easier company.

Race 5

BLACKMAX hit the line strongly after having no luck at a crucial stage first up and looks well placed stepping up to 1400m. RUGGIERO backs up after an eye-catching and luckless run last week, any rain would be a bonus. BLIXTEN is flying for the new stable and ran well at this trip last time. BARRICHELO was responsible at his first run for the new stable and will strip fitter.

Suggested Bet: Blackmax to win

Race 6

MT NISEKO resumed as a gelding and was forced to cover ground first up but was still able win in good style. CALICO JACK was well backed and dominated on speed last time. PACIFIC RUBY looked promising winning her two races last preparation and has been jumping out ok to resume. ATOMIC SELFIE ran well first up, the slight rise in distance is a positive for her and she’s coped with rain affected ground previously.

Race 7

BENEDETTA caught the eye closing off strongly on debut over 1100m prior to her dominant win last start over 1200m, she gives the impression she’ll relish stepping up to 1300m. EVERYLITTLE BREEZE had no luck at a crucial stage last start. Mt Niseko will give a guide on that form in the previous race. DOUBLERN comes through the same race and maps for another good run. DIAMOND MODEL was given a solid hit out in a recent jumpout and is a previous first up winner. FAST START, CAPITAL EXPRESS and DISCERNING have claims.

Race 8

Tough finish. INDIFFERENCE didn’t have much luck two starts back, blinkers go on after performing below expectations last time. OCEANOGRAPHY’S three wins have come at 1600m, he drops in grade with a claim. GIRELLO will make his own luck on speed. EDITH has been jumping out ok to resume. SOARHI, FOREST DIAMOND and ELECTIC BELLE are in the mix in a deep race.
