Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Bendigo Preview Posted on May 21, 2024May 21, 2024 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 PANTOJA, the half brother to Giga Kick, has been jumping out in great style and Tropicus has franked the form out of one of his recent jumpouts. MARKDEL will strip fitter and appreciate the extra 100m. EAGLE EXPRESS and ACTA NON VERBA are other debutant to jump out particularly well. Selections: 6,5,11,1 Suggested Bet: Pantoja to win Race 2 ROMAJI hit the line strongly after being slowly away last time and with a clean get away can settle much closer. NEFERURE can be forgiven her first up run at Warrnambool, she’d jumped out well prior and gets blinkers off. CRAIG has jumped out well for his local debut and what seems a suitable trip. DUSTY’S DEEL has been trialling and jumping out in good style to debut on his home track. Selections: 7,11,3,4 Suggested Bet: Romaji each way Race 3 PEACEFUL PROTEST is close to a maiden victory in the distance range and has been kept up to the mark with a hurdle school between runs. RETOURNE is also building to his maiden win and should get a soft run from the inside draw. JOFFREY has appreciate getting out to staying trips and just missed when he charged late last start. LEVENTIA and ECLAIR DANCER give the impression they’ll appreciate the rise in distance. Selections: 8,10,5,7 Suggested Bet: Peaceful Protest each way Race 4 FREEDOM ESCAPE has returned in good form and is racing like he’ll appreciate getting out to this trip. ALA MOANA was competitive at stakes level in Tassie and will strip fitter for her luckless recent run. BOGUES battled on bravely after absorbing plenty of pressure last start. WALKI IN THE WOODS won an easier race in dominant fashion last time and will make his own luck. Selections: 1,11,4,9 Suggested Bet: Freedom Escape each way Race 5 LE PARRAIN resumed with a solid run at Warrnambool and looks well placed dropping in grade. VARANE looked good winning on debut and has been trialling/jumping out ok to resume. LIGHT WISH has sown above average talent in her two runs to date and may appreciate dropping back to 1100m. CORRUPTED charged late to break the maiden last time and has some upside. MANSIERE should be strong late back to 1100m on the fresh side. Selections: 1,4,7,10 Suggested Bet: Le Parrain each way Race 6 DIAMOND CITY ran ok first up and can settle a lot closer from an inside draw. STAR HONOUR may be better over slightly further but has been jumping out in great style to resume. WRITTEN ROYALTY has also been jumping out well to kick off another prep. SPICY MARGS will give a sight. VANISHING measured up well out of maiden grade last start. Selections: 11,5,1,9 Suggested Bet: Diamond City each way Race 7 FALCON OF MALTA will be close to peak fitness third up, he should roll forward and prove hard to get past. BRAVE MISS looks progressive and if she gains a start can make her presence felt with any luck from the draw. TYPHOON HARMONY maps for a good run and can improve on his latest effort. VAIL MOUNTAIN can’t be improving but is racing in great form and will make his own luck. CHARTRES isn’t badly treated after the claim and will strip fitter third up. Selections: 2,15,4,6 Suggested Bet: Falcon Of Malta to win Race 8 GRONKOWSKI is thriving being kept fresh around this trip and looks the one to beat again. YULONG STORM ran well against the bias at Warrnambool and seems big odds in early markets. CHILL THE KRUG was also disadvantaged by the pattern at Warrnambool and should get a soft run. APACHE SONG, DISMOUNT and SPEEDTAIL have claims in they make the field Selections: 6,1,12,13 Suggested Bet: Gronkowski to win Market Market
