Warren Huntly’s Saturday Flemington Preview Posted on September 11, 2025September 12, 2025 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 SHE’S AN ARTIST looks destined for much better races. She’s been impressive down the straight and has worked well to resume. STOLI BOLLI has had excuses this prep and will be strong late. SALSA FELLOW is another that has won down the straight and looked to have plenty to offer in a recent jumpout. RICH DOTTIE has also jumped out well and will get clear air. TONKIN has upside and well give a sight. Selections: 10,7,6,18 Suggested Bet: She’s An Artist to win Race 2 TYCOON STAR will be close to peak fitness, he’s returned well and the form around him is strong. LEGACY BOUND has trialled in good style, he looks promising and is an obvious winning hope. MCGAW is another with upside and will strip fitter for a solid return. DEVIL NIGHT did enough first up in a strong race and his previous form is elite. SHINING SMILE has been a benchmark for his age group and is sure to run well again. Selections: 2,3,5,1 Suggested Bet: Tycoon Star to win Race 3 Competitive race. JUST KICK is still a maiden but has shown good ability and displayed the versatility to take advantage of the low draw. CROSSBOW is racing in good form and looks suited coming back slightly in trip. VINROCK will strip fitter second up and should relish the step up to 1400m. WEST OF SWINDON is also a maiden but has competed at a high level and has claims with luck from the raw. WISE INLAW measure up well last time and there’s winning form from that race. Selections: 12,3,1,6 Suggested Bet: Just Kick each way Race 4 Another competitive race. MY GLADIOLA charged late first up and is drawn to be doing the same. BIOLOGICS looked good winning her maiden on debut and has jumped out well to resume. SCENIC POINT had excuses first up, has jumped out ok between runs and gets a tongue tie. INKARUNA and PALM ANGEL are among the other winning hopes in a deep race. Selections: 2,19,7,4 Suggested Bet: My Gladiola each way Race 5 CAFE MILLENIUM is performing well for the new stable and will be strong late. RISE AT DAWN has been jumping out in good fashion. He has the tactical speed to offset the wide draw and can give a sight. POP AWARD covered ground last start and battled on well under the circumstances. TRANSATLANTIC brings some strong interstate form lines and has trialled nicely to resume. GERRINGONG did some early work in a key lead up race last time. ATAHANTOS goes well second up and will be improved by an encouraging return Selections: 4,1,6,3 Suggested Bet: Cafe Millenium each way Race 6 ARKANSAW KID looks well placed third up with winkers on after to good runs this prep. ROYAL INSIGNIA has jumped out well between runs, he’s not that well treated at the weights but has upside and is likely to strike his preferred dry ground. AIRMAN brings a strong first up record and has trialled well in Sydney to resume. CORNICHE had excuses when well supported last time. STAR PATROL resumes after throat surgery, he likes the straight and has jumped out well. Selections: 4,11,2,7 Suggested Bet: Arkansaw Kid each way Same Race Multi: Arkansaw Kid (Top 2) + Royal Insignia (Top 4) Race 7 REVELARE is building an impressive record. He fought well to win a key lead up race second up and should be further improved. MORMONA chased strongly behind Revelare last start and should appreciate the rise in trip. BUR DUBAI hit the line powerfully in an easier race last and will also appreciate stepping up in distance. SAYEDATY SADATY can give a sight riding the speed. JENNIVAMOOSE is flying at Moonee Valley but has claims. Selections: 4,7,12,3 Suggested Bet: Revelare to win Race 8 Quality race despite the small field and likely to be a tactical event. VIA SISTINA is the measuring stick. She is likely to be giving Mr B a start but is still the one to beat. MR BRIGHTSIDE has tactical versatility and may prove hard to catch. AELIANA measure up well behind Via Sistina first up, she may want further but is too classy to overlook. ANTINO and TOM KITTEN are both quality horses but may have the race shape against them. Selections: 5,1,6,3 Suggested Bet: Via Sistina to win Race 9 LAZZURA won well first up in Sydney and should be suited by the rise to 1400m. ABOUNDING was good behind a multiple Group 1 winner last start and should also relish 1400m. SPLASH BACK will also appreciate 1400m and getting back to Flemington. ON DISPLAY takes another rid=se in grade but looks progressive. OH TOO GOOD has jumped out in typically good style and races well here. Selections: 3,6,11,7 Suggested Bet: Lazzura to win Race 10 GLOBE was brave behind a well weighted horse first up and looks well placed stepping up to 1700m second up. KINGSWOOD is generally effective first up and has been umping out well. CHIEF LITTLE ROCK is a query runner. His overseas form reads well and he jumping out in good style but has the wide draw to contend with. GOLDEN PATH will strip fitter second up and gets blinkers off. Selections: 4,6,12,1 Suggested Bet: Globe to win Market Market
