Warren Huntly’s Saturday Caulfield Preview Posted on June 26, 2025June 26, 2025 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 OYSTER LANE has jumped out well enough to command plenty of respect on debut. SONOFKIRK had jumped out well prior to an encouraging debut and is sure to be better for the experience. HELLO ROMEO resumed gelded with a solid win and will strip fitter. OLATUNDE has been gelded during his break and a recent jumpout was most encouraging. Selections: 6,4,1,16 Suggested Bet: Oyster Lane each way Race 2 ROMANI ITE DOMUM has been jumping out well and looks ready to go first up. MANOLO BLING will strip fitter for her most recent run and make her own luck. TREMBLES has returned in great form and is another that will make her own luck. RUNLIKENENCRYPTION has measured up ok in town at her last couple. Selections: 4,1,5,6 Suggested Bet: Romani Ite Domum each way Race 3 ILLYIVY rises in grade but her overall form is solid and can measure up. MERCURIAL LADY is another that rises in grade but was dominant on the Ballarat synthetic and her pervious form is strong. BETWITCHERY was run down by a smart one last time and can make her own luck. ATTACHMENTS and STAGE ‘N’ SCREEN have claims in an even race. Selections: 7,10,5,4 Suggested Bet: Illyivy each way Race 4 HARRY’S YACHT bounced back to something like his best form last time and maps for a good run. JUST FOR SHOW comes through the same race and has obvious claim. He’ll probably need some luck from the draw but will be close to peak fitness. IT’S A YES covered ground last time and battled on well under the circumstances. BRANDJAM has returned in good form and looks set for a good run near the speed. Selections: 3,1,6,5 Suggested Bet: Harry’s Yacht each way Race 5 CAPTAIN ELECTRIC dominated on his preferred rain affected ground and is likely to strike suitable conditions again. EUPHORIC has been frustrating of late but looked a little unlucky in a stronger race over this trip last start. FLAMIN’ ROMANS races well here and his form ties in with Captain Electric. RAINBOW DELIGHT brings some solid NZ form and has been jumping out ok. NATION’S CALL should be at peak fitness and may be looking for this trip now. Selections: 14,2,8,16 Suggested Bet: Captain Electric to win Race 6 THE BLACK CLOUD looks hard to eat. She ran well first up in a strong race in Sydney and will appreciate any give in the ground. EMPRESS OF WONDER ran well behind a smart one time and has the tactical speed to offset the wide draw. CHEERSTOTHAT, LUNA CAT and HERBERT PARK have some claims. Selections: 3,12,5,4 Suggested Bet: The Black Cloud to win Race 7 RAIKOKE seemed to peak on his run first up, he’s jumped out well since and appeals each way. CHINQUI is fit, racing in great form and appears to handle all surfaces. MOBY DICK wasn’t far behind Raikoke last start and gets a claim. ZOU SENSATION has jumped out well to resume and is a previous first up winner. KEEP YOUR COOL won well first up and brings a solid second up record. Selections: 6,5,8,3 Suggested Bet: Raikoke each way Race 8 EARLSWOOD should be close to peak fitness third up and there has been merit in both runs this prep. MILFORD and SAYEDATY SADATY come through the same race and doubt there’s much between the three of them. ROLLS comes through a different form line, he’s racing well and will appreciate any give in the track. Selections: 4,5,10,2 Suggested Bet: Earlswood each way Same Race Multi: Earlswood (Top 2) + Milford (Top 4) Race 9 REGAL VOW has finally been able to get some continuity into her racing and gets blinkers on. THE OPEN also gets blinkers on, he’s fully fit and continues to race well. YELLOW SAM won the Golden Topaz first up in good style and should strip fitter. DASHING is having a great prep and doubt coming back to 1440m will be an issue. RUNNING BY and RUN HARRY RUN should be both be ready third up but not sure how wet they want it. Selections: 12,10,8,1 Suggested Bet: Regal Vow each way Market Market
