Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on May 11, 2017May 11, 2017 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1: WESTRAL MS PACE RED HOT MAJOR (7) disappointed at his first handful of runs back from a spell but looks to be getting back to his best. He used the sprint lane to beat Simply Susational two starts back before working to the front and running a gallant 3rd to Livura here last week and will appreciate the drop in class tonight. BLINDING LIGHT (6) had no luck in the same race and can be a big improver here. HEEZ ABOUT TO ROCK (5) was a good 3rd last start but has had 7 weeks off. FROSTYFLYER (12) is never far away but is finding it hard to win. Tips: 7 6 5 12 Suggested Bet: RED HOT MAJOR (7) to win. Race 2: RETRAVISION MARES MS PACE CHEVRONS CHAMPION (3) has resumed from a break with two solid efforts, including a last start 4th in the Races For Roses. She is drawn inside her main rivals and looks the one to beat. FOXY DAME (8) blew the standing start and trailed the field in that race but must be considered a major player on her previous efforts from the mobile. MAIA MAGUIRE (6) led and was only beaten late by Sheer Rocknroll in that event and should be thereabouts again. SEA CIDER (4) is racing in career best form and is ready for this rise in class. Tips: 3 8 6 4 Suggested Bet: CHEVRONS CHAMPION (3) to win. Race 3: CHOICES FLOORING MS PACE FRANCO RAYNER (9) is the class runner of this field but has the wide draw to overcome. He has blistering gate speed and will be extremely hard to catch if he crosses at the start. NAUGHTY MARAVYU (8) has put the writing on the wall with nice efforts at his last two starts in finishing just behind the placegetters and would be suited by an early burn. JAMES GALLEON (2) is nicely drawn and shouldn’t be far away. SKIPPY RASCAL (1) led throughout in 1.53.6 the last time he had this draw and must be considered on that effort. Tips: 9 8 2 1 Suggested Bet: FRANCO RAYNER (9) to win. Race 4: PRINCI BUTCHERS THE PURE STEEL QUALIFYING HEAT 2 MS PACE JUST BET ON BLACK (1) has won his last five on end, recording some impressive times along the way. He goes up considerably in class but that is offset by the pole draw and he should prove hard to beat. CAMPORA (3) has won two of his last four and was held up before charging home to narrowly miss last week in slick time and looks the main danger. AMERICANBOOTSCOOTA (5) wasn’t suited when racing on the pegs last start and can make his presence felt. IN NYROBI (2) broke gear when leading last start and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 1 3 5 2 Suggested Bet: JUST BET ON BLACK (1) to win. Race 5: INTERNATIONAL ANIMAL HEALTH PRODUCTS MS PACE GALACTIC STAR (9) has been an impressive winner at three of his last four starts with the defeat being a very brave 2nd in the Easter Cup. The wide draw makes this his biggest test but he should still give a great sight. AMERICAN BOY (8) hasn’t been as effective driven off the speed but can press forward here and looks suited by the staying journey. RYCROFT (1) goes up a long way in class but can run a race from the pole. PHOENIX WARRIOR (12) looks on the up after a nice 4th last week and is another suited by the distance. Tips: 9 8 1 12 Suggested Bet: AMERICAN BOY (8) each way. Race 6: WESTSIDE AUTO WHOLESALE WESTERN CROWN 2YO FILLIES MS PACE COTT BEACH (7) won four on end before being beaten 12m by MISS SANGRIAL (4) at her last start. She had excuses on that occasion and can reverse the result tonight. MISS SANGRIAL (4) has improved at every start culminating in a 1.56.3 win last start and has the advantage of drawing inside her main rival. MILLWOOD POLLY (10) trialled nicely behind the talented Jack Mac and is one to watch at her first WA run. OUR MAJOR MAMA (9) is the best of the rest but is probably only a place chance from the draw. Tips: 7 4 10 9 Suggested Bet: COTT BEACH (7) to win. Race 7: BRUNO FALCONER WESTERN CROWN 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS MS PACE JACK MAC (3) made a big impression at his Australian debut when he was caught wide throughout but raced away for a 1.55.5 victory. He is nicely drawn and will be short in the market. FIGHT SONG (4) is undefeated after two starts and looks the only danger if he has improved from his first campaign. MISTER SPOT (1) ran 3rd to JACK MAC (3) last start and can be placed again. KOHLI (8) is drawn wide but has ability and can be placed. Tips: 3 4 1 8 Suggested Bet: JACK MAC (3) to win. Race 8: SULLYS PAINTING MS PACE SOHO WALL STREET (8) performed right up to his best last week when facing the breeze and racing away to win in good time. He is drawn wide over the sprint trip tonight but will be hard to beat if he can back up that effort. OUT BACK JOE (7) ran on from well back to finish 3rd in the same event and should be close up again. WALKABOUT CREEK (6) was a good 2nd in 1.54.0 last start and draws inside his two main rivals. LAGOON STRIDE (4) has only been placed at two of his last 14 but drops massively in class for this assignment. Tips: 8 7 6 4 Suggested Bet: SOHO WALL STREET (8) to win. Race 9: GANNON`S MS PACE IMA ROCKNROLL LEGEND (5) ran an 8m 3rd to the talented Runrunjimmydunn in NZ three runs back and won at his last start. He makes his Australian debut for the Hall camp without a trial but it would be no surprise to see him demolish this field. BAD ROUND (1) worked to the front when a brave 2nd to Just Bet On Black last start and is the obvious danger. STAR ARMBRO (10) is a last start winner drawn to get a lovely trail. BETTOR TWISTED (6) is racing extremely well but has an awkward draw to overcome. Tips: 5 1 10 6 Suggested Bet: IMA ROCKNROLL LEGEND (5) to win. Race 10: WESTRALIAN WESTBRED MS PACE MILITARY MASTER (3) has won his last two, the most recent an impressive victory when he was suited by the early burn before racing away in slick time. He is rarely far away and is the one to beat. JUMPING AT SHADOWS (1) was a strong 3rd to MILITARY MASTER (3) after working hard in the final lap and has the barrier advantage over his rival. AUSSIE DELIGHT (8) has had a month between runs and is drawn wide but has the ability to figure. GLOW BRIGHT (2) is drawn to get a lovely run and looks a good place chance. Tips: 3 1 8 2 Suggested Bet: MILITARY MASTER (3) to win. SuperPick - No. 3 Military Master - Money Back – Run 2nd Bet Now!
