Race 1

ITS ROCK AND ROLL (4) led throughout at Pinjarra in 1.54.5 three starts back and looked a touch disappointing when 2nd to Iconic Valour last start. He has pull up blinkers added to his gear tonight and looks the one to beat. MY CARBON COPY (8) has impressed in winning his last three on end and looks the obvious danger but is drawn poorly. GRINNY VINNIE (3) is flying but steps up in class for this assignment. PIERRE WHITBY (10) is drawn to get a soft run and can be in the money.

Suggested Bet: ITS ROCK AND ROLL (4) to win.

Race 2

OUR RHYTHM N BLUES (11) has had three starts back from a spell and should be ready to show his best. He was a strong 3rd from the breeze here last week and looks better suited back to the middle distance. QUICK STRIDE (1) ran on well in a quick last half here last week and looks a major player from the pole. ACE BROMAC (10) is a last start winner and is drawn to get a lovely run on the pegs. JACK WILLIAM (3) goes up in class on his two Albany wins but must be considered from his nice draw.

Race 3

GEE JAY KAY (11) has endured tough runs against the state’s best 4YO or inside backline draws recently and hasn’t been able to show his best. He can be given his opportunity tonight and should give a great sight. AS HAPPY AS LARRY (4) was a touch disappointing last start but should be getting close to his peak now. SON OF A TIGER (2) has been placed at his last two starts in slick time and looks a winning chance from this draw. COURAGE TELLS (1) continues to race well and can be in the money from the pole.

Race 4

CONVERT DENARIO (11) was a comfortable 1.53.2 winner over this distance last start and excels at the sprint trip. He goes to the backline tonight but the early pace should be hot and he shouldn’t settle too far from the leaders. ICEENOTHINK (10) has been charging home at the end of his races and looks perfectly suited from this draw. HY LEEXCITING (1) led throughout here last week and will prove hard to catch if he can pinch an easy first quarter. GOLDEN STATE (5) has blistering gate speed and will be hard to catch if he crosses.

Race 5

GALACTIC STAR (10) is proven at this level and caught the eye with a fast finishing 3rd to VAMPIRO (9) last start. He is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and will be charging home if he has any luck. MY FIELD MARSHALL (4) is the defending champ and has returned from a spell with two solid efforts behind ALTA ORLANDO (5). He is the class runner of the field and must be respected from this draw. SHOCKWAVE (2) takes on this company for the first time but his Golden Nugget win was scintillating and he should be right in the finish. BILL HALEY (1) has options at the start and must be considered from the pole.

Suggested Bet: GALACTIC STAR (10) each way.

Race 6

CROCODILE KID (10) won two on end earlier in his campaign and was a great 2nd to Patrickthepiranha two starts back after starting from this draw. He is drawn to get a similar run tonight and will be hard to hold out if he sees daylight. SAY IT NOW (1) hasn’t threatened this campaign but looks a big improver from the pole. MON LILLIES (7) is better suited at the sprint trip but would give them something to catch if she found the top. ANIME (2) was a solid winner here two starts back and must be respected from his nice draw.

Tips: 10 1 7 2

Suggested Bet: CROCODILE KID (10) each way.

Race 7

BRAEVIEW BONDI (1) is racing consistently and was a strong 2nd after facing the breeze last start. He doesn’t possess blistering gate speed but will be extremely hard to beat if he can hold up at the start. MARAS ACE MAN (4) has performed well from bad barriers at his last two starts and will make his presence felt tonight. WHOSWHOINTHEZOO (2) has been placed at nine of his past 13 starts and shouldn’t be far away from his nice draw. VALBONNE (9) is probably the best horse in the field but is drawn poorly again.

Tips: 1 4 2 9

Suggested Bet: BRAEVIEW BONDI (1) to win.

Race 8

PICK MY POCKET (3) has been placed at two of her last three starts and gets her chance to break back into the winners’ circle tonight. She was a solid 2nd here in 1.55.3 last week and this represents a drop in class. HAS NO FEAR (2) should be close to her top after three starts back from a spell and looks a major player from her perfect draw. AMERICAN TOUR (8) was a great 2nd in stronger company on Monday but has a wide draw to overcome. WATZINGWITHSIERRA (6) was unlucky here last week and can play a part.

Tips: 3 2 8 6

Suggested Bet: PICK MY POCKET (3) to win.

Race 9

OUR ALFIE ROMEO (3) found the front from a wide draw two starts back and beat a similar field before having to do too much work from the back line last start. She looks the likely leader here and should prove hard to catch. GOTTA GO GABBANA (8) is the other class mare in the field and the obvious danger but has a tough draw to overcome. FAKE NEWS (6) has impressed with victories at her last two starts and is ready for the rise in class. INFINITE SYMBOL (7) is racing well and shouldn’t be far away.

Tips: 3 8 6 7

Suggested Bet: OUR ALFIE ROMEO (3) to win.

Race 10

TIFFANY ROSE (9) arrived in WA as an eight-start maiden but has impressed in winning all five starts here. She has proven her versatility and is the one to beat in her biggest test to date. DOUBLE EXPRESSO (8) won seven of her nine starts as a 2YO and was far from disgraced when a first-up 3rd in slick time against older mares. She is drawn inside her main rival and is the obvious danger. SUING YOU (6) has ability and resumed with a win against weaker company. ADVANCE YOUR DREAM (2) can play a part from her nice draw.

Tips: 9 8 6 2

Suggested Bet: TIFFANY ROSE (9) to win.

Race 11

ROCK ME OVER (4) put up a career best performance when running on to win in 1.53.8 over the sprint trip here last week. He goes up to the 2536m journey tonight and appeals as the one to beat. MISTER ARDEE (8) drops significantly in class on his last start 2nd to Ideal Liner and will be charging home. SOKYS BIGBULLET (7) looks better suited here and can be driven aggressively in the small field. BHAGWAN (2) disappointed last week but looks the leader here and will be in front for a long way.
