Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on June 16, 2022June 16, 2022 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1 DOMINUS FACTUM (3) led throughout to win consecutive events in January before failing in quick time and being sent for a spell. He resumes here without a trial but looks the likely leader and should prove very hard to beat. EUPHORIA (9) started from this draw when beaten in a photo here last week and has the strength to play a part again. FANCI A DANCE (10) is the other class runner of the field but will need some luck in running. WHOSWHOINTHEZOO (1) should settle just behind the speed and is a good place chance. Tips: 3 9 10 1 Suggested Bet: DOMINUS FACTUM (3) to win. Race 2 SAVVY BROMAC (8) drops in class on her recent assignments and will be charging home if there is a solid early tempo. FIFTY FIVE REBORN (1) has finished towards the rear in her three starts this time in but draws to lead tonight and should be a big improver. AMERICAN ARMA (5) has won four on end and is ready for the rise in class. ANGEL IN WHITE (4) has the best form in the race but looks likely to be in the breeze here. Tips: 8 1 5 4 Suggested Bet: SAVVY BROMAC (8) to win. Race 3 RAGAZZO MACH (2) has won ten of his 20 career starts and resumed with a strong 2nd to Beat City after facing the breeze. He has had six weeks between runs but is drawn nicely and is clearly the one to beat. TYPHOON BANNER (5) has sprinted well to win his last two starts and is always dangerous if he gets the right run. WILL I ROCKNROLL (10) is likely to be three back on the pegs and should be thereabouts if he sees daylight at the right time. MIDDLEPAGE (12) has finished 2nd at his last two starts but isn’t as well drawn tonight. Tips: 2 5 10 12 Suggested Bet: RAGAZZO MACH (2) to win. Race 4 MAGNIFICENT STORM (2) was a game 4th in the WA Pacing Cup at his last start and resumes here tonight. His recent trial indicated that is a long way from his top but his class makes him the one to beat.TO FAST TO SERIOUS (6) was suited by the slow tempo and sprinted too well from the breeze here last week and is a winning chance despite the draw. BLETCHLEY PARK (1) couldn’t get into the race first-up but holds the key to the race from the pole. VULTAN TIN (3) loves the trip and is capable of causing an upset. Tips: 2 6 1 3 Suggested Bet: MAGNIFICENT STORM (2) to win. Race 5 SOCRATES (4) had won five on end before losing no admirers with gallant placings at his past two starts. He is drawn to be driven positively tonight and should give a great sight. SEERYANFLY (3) has won his last four starts in easier company and looks likely to enjoy a nice run in transit. MARKHAM EYRE (10) will enjoy a soft run on the pegs and will be dangerous if he gets out at the right time. EZANA (5) disappointed last week but there were excuses and he must be considered on his previous form. Tips: 4 3 10 5 Suggested Bet: MARKHAM EYRE (10) each way. Race 6 GLENLEDI CHIEF (11) has won four of his six starts this time and can overcome the back mark if he can get the right cart in to the race. ROBBIE ROCKET (6) is a talented sit-sprinter who just needs a bit of luck from his wide draw to play a part. YANKEE LINCOLN (3) ran a 7.5m 3rd to GLENLEDI CHIEF (11) at his last start and meets that pacer 10m better off tonight. COWBOYS N BANDITS (1) galloped away at his first start from the stand so must be taken on trust but he has won eight of his 16 starts and has the pole draw. Tips: 11 6 3 1 Suggested Bet: GLENLEDI CHIEF (11) each way. Race 7 MASTER PUBLISHER (2) faced the breeze and knocked up late when 6th here last week but will strip fitter for that effort and looks the one to beat. POCKET THE CASH (11) ran on to finish 2nd in that event and should enjoy a nice run from his trailing draw. TIGER ROYAL (4) was an impressive first-up winner in easier company and must be respected on that effort. ADDA SOMETHING (10) is better suited from a front line draw but can be placed at odds tonight. Tips: 2 11 4 10 Suggested Bet: POCKET THE CASH (11) each way. Race 8 IN THE SPOTLIGHT (2) has resumed with three impressive victories, the latest a 1.55.0 effort from the breeze on Monday and is clearly the one to beat. WALL STREET GIRL (1) has made plenty of mistakes in her career and is yet to win at this track but has the pole draw and should tun a big race if she does everything right. DONTBESILLYCHILLI (3) has battled bad draws of late and looks an improver tonight. FREE WHEELING (5) led when a close-up 3rd against the boys here last week and will appreciate taking on her own sex here. Tips: 2 1 3 5 Suggested Bet: IN THE SPOTLIGHT (2) to win. Race 9 BETWEEN TWO THORNS (7) started from this draw first-up here last week and looked home but knocked up in the final stages when 3rd to Zephyra. She should strip fitter for that effort and will give a great sight. SPIRITOFANANGEL (5) raced greenly on occasions but hit the line nicely when 2nd in that event and looks the main danger. EKARA NAVAJO (2) led when 5th in that race but the pegs were off last week so she must be respected. VALHALLA ANGEL (1) has been placed in four of her last five starts and won’t be far away. Tips: 7 5 2 1 Suggested Bet: BETWEEN TWO THORNS (7) to win. Race 10 HOTLY PURSUED (1) has won his last two starts and appeals as the one to beat after coming up with the pole draw in a race that is likely to be run at a leisurely tempo. RONALD SCOTT (2) has faced the breeze and won both starts this time in but is likely to sit behind the favourite here and should fight out the finish. FESS UP (4) has been an impressive winner of his last two starts and did cross from a wide draw at his last start so he may make things interesting early. COLD HARD CASH (3) chased hard when 2nd to FESS UP (4). Tips: 1 2 4 3 Suggested Bet: HOTLY PURSUED (1) to win. Market Market
