Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on June 21, 2018 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: RETRAVISION MS PACE DREDLOCK ROCKSTAR (9) ran on well to finish 3rd at Pinjarra two starts back and then wasn’t far away when 6th here last week. He is poorly drawn but has a nice turn of foot and could represent value in a very open affair. ONEONTHEWOOD (12) finished 5th in the same race last week and is always about the place. SOKYS BIGBULLET (8) would win this if anywhere near his top but only had one run last campaign and hasn’t trialled. SPRINGSTEEN (1) looks the leader and could be an improver tonight. Tips: 9 12 8 1 Suggested Bet: DREDLOCK ROCKSTAR (9) each way. Race 2: YES LOANS MS PACE TISADREAM (12) has won four of his six starts this campaign and couldn’t have been more impressive when facing the breeze and winning comfortably in 1.54.6 here last week. He has a back line draw tonight but will give a great sight. WALKINSHAW (8) has been victorious at his three runs this time in and his 1.55.7 win from the breeze at his last start indicated that he is at his peak. BACK TO THE BEACH (1) looks the leader and will give them something to catch. BETTER SCOOT (7) is racing well but is better suited to standing start events. Tips: 12 8 1 7 Suggested Bet: TISADREAM (12) to win. Race 3: INTERSPORT SLATER GARTRELL MS PACE EDEN FRANCO (6) faced the breeze and was a brave 3rd in quick time last start. She probably needs to find the front to win but will be incredibly hard to catch if she does take up the running. EAGLE ROX (4) has won three out of her last four starts and is the best drawn of the main chances. VAMPIRO (8) ran on nicely when 3rd here last week and will strip fitter for the run. LORD WILLOUGHBY (7) has been placed at all 22 starts this campaign and it would take a game punter to leave him out of trifectas. Tips: 6 4 8 7 Suggested Bet: EDEN FRANCO (6) to win. Race 4: 2YO WESTSIRED MS PACE SHEZA SPOILT MISS (2) attempted to lead throughout at her second race start when a 3m 3rd to Dracarys. This looks an easier assignment and she should prove hard to catch if she can find the front. BABYFACE ADDA (7) is the only winner in the field and was beaten less than 3m by Bletchley Park two starts back so must be considered. MY PRAYER (3) has been placed at three of her last five starts and should be thereabouts from this draw. TELLMETOATTACK (4) has speed and could be in the finish if she races more tractably. Tips: 2 7 3 4 Suggested Bet: SHEZA SPOILT MISS (2) to win. Race 5: 3YO FILLIES WESTBRED CLASSIC FINAL VEILED SECRET (3) has improved out of sight and has won four of her last five starts. She defeated a similar field last week and is drawn nicely tonight. LADY DE LA RENTA (4) has taken a different path to her main rivals and her win over the boys last start should have her ready for this assignment. INFINITE SYMBOL (5) faced the breeze and split VEILED SECRET (3) and COTT BEACH (6) last week and should be in the finish. COTT BEACH (6) started favourite when beaten by a similar field last week but is too good to dismiss. Tips: 3 4 5 6 Suggested Bet: VEILED SECRET (3) to win. Race 6: 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS WESTBRED CLASSIC ONE OFF DELIGHT (1) led throughout to win at this track in 1.56.4 four starts back and a similar performance will make him the one to beat tonight. THISBEACHRIGHTHERE (5) has won three of his last four starts and has the ability to test the polemarker. HIGHROLLER JOE (10) has changed stables and trialled nicely so must be considered from his nice trailing draw. ROCK ME OVER (12) has a nice turn of foot but will be giving his main rivals a healthy start. Tips: 1 5 10 12 Suggested Bet: HIGHROLLER JOE (10) each way. Race 7: WINTER CUP MS PACE BETTORS FIRE (8) is racing as well as ever, winning four of his last five in similar fields. He isn’t as well drawn tonight but did prove his versatility two starts back and is still the one to beat. THE BUCKET LIST (6) has finished hard to be placed at his past four starts and only needs the right run to win a race of this nature. GALACTIC STAR (7) also possesses a quick turn of foot if the early tempo is solid. MACZAFFAIR (1) disappointed last start but may enjoy a softer lead tonight. Tips: 8 6 7 1 Suggested Bet: BETTORS FIRE (8) to win. Race 8: DIRECT TRADES SUPPLY THE LOMBARDO QUALIFYING HEAT 3 MS PACE DIOR MIA MORE (3) is a classy mare who has won two of her three starts this campaign against better opposition than she meets tonight. She is well drawn and clearly the one to beat. GLENFERRIE ARCH (1) has battled bad barriers at her past two starts but was placed on four consecutive occasions before that and should be in the finish. SUSIE ROCKS (2) should enjoy a nice run and won’t be far away. CATASTROPHIC EVENT (10) was a last start winner in weaker company and looks a place chance from this draw. Tips: 3 1 2 10 Suggested Bet: DIOR MIA MORE (3) to win. Race 9: TABTOUCH WESTBRED MS PACE FANCI A DANCE (6) was a strong winner two starts back before putting up a huge performance when wide throughout and 4th to Carter Micheal here last week. He looks set to do all the work again tonight but should prove hard to beat. MICHAEL JOSEPH (5) finished 3rd in that event after an impressive Pinjarra win and should be in the finish again. ROCKIN THE BOYS (2) looks the leader and grows a leg in front. NEW WORLD ORDER (7) has disappointed this campaign but is capable of causing an upset with the right run. Tips: 6 5 2 7 Suggested Bet: FANCI A DANCE (6) to win. SuperPick - Race 9 No. 6 Fanci A Dance - Money Back Race 10: GARARDS GORSE & HOUND 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS WESTBRED MS PACE WARRIORS CODE (1) started favourite but led and was beaten by Quick Stride at his first run this campaign. He will strip fitter for that effort and should give a great sight. TUBBS FARQUHAR (2) led and was narrowly beaten last start and should play a part from this draw. ALLWOOD PEACEMAKER (3) ran on well in a stronger field at his last start and should be considered. ROMAN AVIATOR (9) was a strong 2nd in a better field on Monday but has a wide draw to overcome. Tips: 1 2 3 9 Suggested Bet: WARRIORS CODE (1) to win.
