Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on June 14, 2018 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: PRINCI SMALLGOODS FREE RANGE BACON MS PACE THEREUGO (2) is a quick beginner who has won 14 of his 32 career starts. He warmed up with a solid 2nd in a recent Byford trial and should prove hard to catch from this draw. TISADREAM (3) has won three of his five starts this campaign and should settle in a handy position from this draw. VAMPIRO (9) is resuming from a spell and is drawn wide but is the class runner of the field. EXTREME PRINCE (1) is drawn to get the run of the race and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 2 3 9 1 Suggested Bet: THEREUGO (2) to win. Race 2: PRINCI SMALLGOODS SOPRESSA MS PACE MICHAEL JOSEPH (11) impressed at his first start in WA when a 1.55.7 winner over Our Zak Whitby. He had all the favours on that occasion but is drawn to get a similar run tonight. COURAGE TO LIVE (3) hasn’t had much luck at his last three starts and has the turn of foot to be dangerous here. CARTER MICHEAL (1) led and finished 2nd here last week and must be considered from the pole. SUSPICIOUS LIFE (6) is very quick off the arm and will give plenty of cheek if he crosses at the start. Tips: 11 3 1 6 Suggested Bet: MICHAEL JOSEPH (11) to win. Race 3: PRINCI SMALLGOODS FREE RANGE HAM MS PACE EL JACKO (7) was well driven when a comfortable winner two starts back and then couldn’t get into the race last week. This looks easier and he should give a great sight. LETS CHASE THE DREAM (8) resumed from a spell with a fast finishing 2nd and will be fitter for that run. DODOLICIOUS (2) was help up at a crucial stage when 6th to Bettors Fire in a stronger field last week and is the best drawn of the main chances. WHOZIDEAWASTHIS (9) is better suited when he can race close to the lead but must be respected in this class. Tips: 7 8 2 9 Suggested Bet: EL JACKO (7) to win. Race 4: PRINCI SMALLGOODS FREE RANGE SALAMI MS PACE BETTORS FIRE (1) has won three of his last four and looks the leader and winner tonight. TOMMY BE GOOD (2) will drop to the pegs behind the favourite and looks a great place chance. SHANDALE (3) has drawn wide at his last two but was placed at his first three runs back from a spell when drawn favourably and can be in the money again. GALACTIC STAR (5) has returned from a spell with two eye-catching runs but is drawn awkwardly tonight. Tips: 1 2 3 5 Suggested Bet: BETTORS FIRE (1) to win. Race 5: PRINCI SMALLGOODS 2YO PEARL CLASSIC FINAL BLETCHLEY PARK (3) has created a big impression in winning four of his five career starts. He is drawn outside the favourite but may have the gate speed to cross at the start which could prove crucial. FRANCO EDWARD (1) was awesome when he was crossed from this draw before breezing and demolishing his opposition and should win if he can hold up. MAJOR SURVIVOR (10) is drawn to be a great place chance. SHOCKWAVE (7) was a strong winner of his heat in good time but is drawn poorly. Tips: 3 1 10 7 Suggested Bet: BLETCHLEY PARK (3) to win. SuperPick - Race 5 No. 3 Bletchley - Money Back Race 6: PRINCI SMALLGOODS GOURMET RANGE WESTSIRED 3YO FILLIES MS PACE COTT BEACH (1) has won almost twice as much stakemoney as the rest of the field combined and looks extremely hard to beat from the pole. INFINITE SYMBOL (4) has won her last three in easier company but her times indicate that she is up to this class. VEILED SECRET (5) is a 1.53.6 last start winner but is drawn awkwardly here. FUNKY OLE MEDINA (2) is the next best but a place chance at best. Tips: 1 4 5 2 Suggested Bet: COTT BEACH (1) to win. Race 7: PRINCI SMALLGOODS EST 1979 HANDICAP SS PACE BETTER SCOOT (5) was a great 3rd at his first run back from an 18 month break before leading throughout to defeat LORD WILLOUGHBY (7). They are starting off the same handicaps tonight so he is clearly the one to beat. LORD WILLOUGHBY (7) was a game 2nd to the favourite last start and is the obvious danger. MAJOR RUSH (1) wasn’t far behind the favoured pair when 3rd last start and has the pole. ONEONTHEWOOD (3) is racing consistently and will appreciate a front line draw. Tips: 5 7 1 3 Suggested Bet: BETTER SCOOT (5) to win. Race 8: WWW.PRINCISMALLGOODS.COM.AU WESTSIRED 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS MS PACE ROLLING COMMANDER (3) has led throughout to win two of his last three starts. This field isn’t overly strong and he looks a major player again. WAR CLUB (4) ran 2nd to Jack Mac two starts back which is a very good form line for this event. LUCKY SENSATION (2) led and ran 2nd at Bunbury last start and will give a sight if he can find the front. HARRY HAICH (5) has only won one of his 12 starts but warmed up for this with a solid Byford trial win and must be considered. Tips: 3 4 2 5 Suggested Bet: ROLLING COMMANDER (3) to win. Race 9: PRINCI SMALLGOODS – PURELY AUSTRALIAN, NATURALLY ITALIAN THE LOMBARDO QUALIFYING HEAT 2 GOTTA GO GABBANA (5) is a remarkably consistent mare who rarely runs a bad race. She was a comfortable winner here last start and is the one to beat again. IM STYLISH (4) was a strong 4th after facing the breeze last start and is drawn inside her main rivals. MILLVIEW SIENNA (8) has had a short break but indicated her fitness with a strong Byford trial win and looks the other winning chance. LADY LUCA (3) ran an improved race last start and looks a place chance at big odds. Tips: 5 4 8 3 Suggested Bet: GOTTA GO GABBANA (5) to win. Race 10: VISIT PRINCI BUTCHERS IN NORTH PERTH 3YO MS PACE JACK MAC (8) has bolted in at his first two runs back from a spell. He is going for his 10th straight victory and it is hard to tip against him. BETTOR AIM (6) has impressed with dominant wins at his first two starts in the state and could make it interesting if he can find the front. LIAM NEIL (3) has been placed at 9 of his 15 starts and can be in the money again. ALL OVER TAN (1) doesn’t have the class of his rivals but is a place chance from the pole. Tips: 8 6 3 1 Suggested Bet: JACK MAC (8) to win..
