Chris Nelson’s Toowoomba Top Tips Posted on April 15, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 3 No.5 Executed Sunshine Coast galloper trained by Krystal Johnston who put in a good performance at Doomben last time out beating all bar the very speedy Lady Jetsetter. I liked the way he found the line on that occasion and third up tomorrow he should be ready to peak. He strikes a race with plenty of speed and just has to stay in some sort of touch, from there he’s a big chance of running over those leaders late. RACE 4 No.3 Crack Me Up Liam Birchley trained youngster who has only had the two career starts and certainly impressed charging home at Doomben first up. Plenty of merit in that performance as he raced wide the entire trip and was entitled to fold up in the straight. That wasn’t the case and everything suggests he’ll lap up the additional distance tomorrow. RACE 5 No.2 Too Good To Refuse Desleigh Forster trained galloper who looks very well suited in tomorrow’s Toowoomba Guineas. Tailed out last early on over the 1350m trip at Doomben a couple of weeks back before making good ground to the line. The step up to 1625m tomorrow is ideal for him and he certainly won’t be giving away as big a start. Looks the winner.
