The Scout: Thursday NBA Tips Posted on November 27, 2019November 27, 2019 | Posted by The Scout Sacramento Kings (7-9) @ Philadelphia 76ers (11-6) The Kings have won four of seven games since losing their floor general De’Aaron Fox, although it could’ve looked much better with narrow losses to the Celtics (1 point) and Lakers (2 points). Buddy Hield is justifying his hefty contract, averaging 20.4 points per game (including 41 against the Celtics this week) while shooting close to 40% from deep. Philadelphia are 5th in the East and their new look lineup is taking time to gel. Joel Embiid doesn’t look healthy, even going scoreless in 31 minutes against the Raptors in the 76ers’ last game. Sacramento are closing in on a big scalp. Recent games against the Lakers and Celtics prove they can compete with the best teams in the league and I think they matchup up well here against the middling 76ers. Suggested Bet: Sacramento Win @ $4.50* Minnesota Timberwolves (9-8) @ San Antonio Spurs (6-12) Minnesota’s Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins are currently doing their best to be considered a legitimate “big two” in the new era of NBA basketball. Towns is averaging 26.5 points (while shooting 44% from three) and making more three pointers per game than any player not named James Harden or Paul George. The Spurs are in free fall, winning just once in their last 10 games. They rank 27th for three pointers made and look set to miss the playoffs for the first time in 22 years. San Antonio lack depth at the centre position and have no obvious answer for Towns. Between him and Wiggins (25ppg) I think the Wolves will handle the Spurs here. Suggested Bet: Minnesota Win @ $2.08* Oklahoma City Thunder (6-10) @ Portland Trailblazers (6-12) The Trailblazers snapped a four game losing streak with a win over the Bulls on Tuesday, thanks largely to Carmelo Anthony’s 25 points and 8 rebounds. After six games on the road, the Blazers return home now and will be desperate to turn their season around. Chris Paul had his best game in a Thunder uniform (20 points, 5 assists, 7 rebounds) and this was only just enough to see them get past the Warriors two days ago. Portland play six of their next seven games at home. Their season is on the line during this run and I think they will start by taking care of OKC here at home. Suggested Bet: Portland -2.5 (Line) @ $1.87* *Odds correct as at 10am, 27th November 2019. Market Market
