The Scout: NBA Finals Game 1 Posted on September 30, 2020September 30, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Miami Heat vs Los Angeles Lakers These two teams have been dominant in their respective playoff runs, each losing just three times en route to the Finals. Not many expected to see Miami here, but they have looked every bit the Finals team in the bubble, particularly in the Playoffs where they swept the Pacers before comfortably getting past the Bucks and Celtics. Los Angeles undoubtedly boast the best two player in this series, but Miami have the next five headlined by Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and rookie sensation Tyler Herro. Each team’s spread of talent leads to differing styles here with the Lakers leaning heavily into the LeBron + AD duo while the Heat share the basketball, and whoever gets the best look takes the shot. The Heat have multiple highly-capable ball handlers and their own version of the Splash Brothers in Herro and Duncan Robinson. They’ll need to start well to stand a chance in this series and the Lakers have won just one Game 1 these playoffs. LeBron is the king of making game-to-game playoff adjustments, and I think he’ll need to after Game 1 against this Heat team. Suggested Bet: Miami (Head to Head) @ $2.55* *Odds correct as at 8.30am, 30th September 2020. Market Market
