The Scout: EPL Week 37 Posted on May 18, 2021May 18, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Southampton vs Leeds Southampton (14th) host Leeds (10th) in a match where both sides have won back-to-back matches and are finishing the season strongly. The Saints have avoided relegation and the pressure is now off manager Ralph Hasenhuttl and his side, this has resulted in two fantastic performances. Hasenhuttl’s squad is back playing aggressive football that translated into 3-1 wins over Fulham and Crystal Palace. The attacking duo of Danny Ings and Che Adams is back on the park after the pair were continually missing games through injury. Adams in particular has flourished, scoring a goal in Southampton’s last two matches. Southampton are playing aggressive football and Adams looks a good bet to carry on his good form. Suggested Bet: Che Adams Anytime Goalscorer @ $3* Everton vs Wolverhampton Everton are currently in 8th place in the Premier League and enter this match off the back of an extremely disappointing loss to Sheffield United. The Toffees must now win their remaining matches to have a chance at qualifying for the Europa cup. Wolverhampton (12th) have had a very mediocre season and are likely to finish in the bottom half of the table. Having only managed one win in their last four matches there is little motivation for Wolves and their players may have one foot out the door. The pressure is on for Everton and at almost full strength they can put in a season defining performance. I expect Carlo Ancelotti to adjust the starting XI with Gylfi Sigurdsson an ideal injection into the lineup. Suggested Bet: Everton (Match Result) @ $1.85* Burnley vs Liverpool Burnley (15th) have survived relegation but will end the season with very little to play for, while Liverpool (5th) has everything to play for as they could sneak into the top four. Liverpool have won their last three Premier League fixtures which includes last weekend’s incredible 2-1 win over West Brom which featured a 95th minute goal from goalkeeper Allison. The Reds may have left their run too late but have a real shot at finishing top four if they win their remaining fixtures. Liverpool are still struggling defensively and have conceded a goal in five of their last six fixtures. I see Burnley getting a consolation goal at some time during the match but ultimately Liverpool will prove too strong. Suggested Bet: Liverpool WIN & Both Teams To Score @ $2.55* *Odds correct as at 11am, 18th May 2021. Market Market
