The Scout: EPL Week 30 Posted on April 1, 2021April 1, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Chelsea vs West Brom 4th placed Chelsea have won two of their last three and will look to cement their spot in the top four when they host West Brom (19th) who look destined for relegation. Thomas Tuchel has transformed Chelsea into a defensive juggernaut and scoring against them has proven near-impossible. The Blues haven’t conceded a goal in 360 minutes of play in the Premier League, and that’s against the likes of Everton and Manchester United. Chelsea defend as a team, but Danish centre-back Andreas Christensen has been the key cog, playing every minute of Chelsea’s last four games – all of which were cleansheets. Suggested Bet: Chelsea Win to Nil @ $1.80* Newcastle vs Tottenham Newcastle (17th) are playing a dangerous (relegation) game, just two point clear of the bottom three while Tottenham (6th) have won four of their last five matches. Newcastle have gone six straight Premier League fixtures without a win and are without their two main goal scoring threats in Allan Saint-Maximum and Callum Wilson. It’s shown with just one goal from their last three games. Jose Mourhino’s squad turned the corner when Harry Kane returned from injury at the start of February. They’ve scored a goal in the first half of their last five Premier League games, and I think we see the trend continue again here. Suggested Bet: Tottenham (Half-Time/Full-Time) @ $2.50* Leeds United vs Sheffield United 11th placed Leeds will be looking to win two on the trot when they take on Sheffield United who sit at the bottom of the Premier League table. Sheffield United have relegation sewn up, have lost five of their last six fixtures, and have lowest goal tally of any team in the league at 16. All very grim. Leeds striker Patrick Bamford returned to form with a stunning opening goal against Fulham and now finds himself up against a Blades squad fresh off a 5-0 loss to Leicester. Suggested Bet: Patrick Bamford First Goalscorer @ $4* *Odds correct as at 6pm, 1st April 2021. Market Market
