The Scout: EPL Week 16 Posted on December 30, 2020December 31, 2020 | Posted by The Scout Manchester United vs Wolverhampton Finishing in a top four position was only a glimmer of hope early on for Manchester United but it is now a reality as they are undefeated in eight Premier League matches. Wolverhampton are currently in a run of poor form and have tumbled down the table, they’ve managed just one victory in five fixtures. The Red Devils are absolutely flying and it’s all down to their ferocious goal scoring ability. United have scored 21 goals in their last eight matches. The ability to find the back of the net starts with the creative genius of Bruno Fernandes who is arguably the best player in the league right now. Since losing their key striker Raul Jimenez, the Wolves have struggled to win matches, and this will continue against one of the form teams of the Premier League. Wolves have conceded at least one goal in their last eight fixtures and keeping a clean sheet looks out of the question against the fire power of Manchester United. Suggested Bet: Manchester United & Over 2.5 Goals @ $2.50* Tottenham vs Fulham Reality has hit Tottenham hard as they’ve fallen from 1st in the Premier League to 7th. This decline is due to a streak of four games without a win. Fulham are currently without a win in five fixtures and are in the relegation zone. This presents a wonderful opportunity for Tottenham to get maximum points as Fulham are easily one of the worst sides in the Premier League. Son Heung-Min has gone scoreless in back-to-back matches, a rare occurrence for the South Korean who has been on a rampage this season with 11 goals so far to his name. Tottenham will be on a full offensive against Fulham and will have plenty of shots on goal. It will be an onslaught as they maintain a strong possession advantage which will make way for Son to get back on his feet. Son’s pace and superior finishing ability will be too much for the defenders of Fulham, this will be a one sided affair that will present plenty of opportunities for Son to score. Suggested Bet: Anytime Goalscorer Son Heung-Min @ $2.20* Newcastle vs Liverpool Liverpool are back on top, although they do not look as strong as they did last season, they are still the favourite to win the league. A midweek disaster saw Liverpool draw 1-1 with 19th placed West Brom. Despite scoring the first goal and looking to be in control they ended up only getting the one point. The three-pronged attack of Salah, Mane and Firmino are starting to find their feet as all of them have scored goals over the past month. This devastating trio are the reason Liverpool have a league leading 37 goals. Liverpool have scored three or more goals the last four times these two sides have met and with the firepower at their disposal I see no reason why this trend will not continue. Suggested Bet: Liverpool Win & Over 2.5 Goals @ 2* Market Market
